Smelly old rooms/bad service. Run away! Staff was rude, room was old, facing parking lot. Even numbers are better views. I complained about the room being smelly like old casino carpet smell , the Spanish lady at the front got an attitude with me. I would not come back! Read thru the reviews!!! Believe the bad ones! Every day 3 am other guest are loud af! Woke me kids up! Doors slamming ppl fighting drunk! All at 3 am ! The bathroom was so old! One of the towels had red lipstick! My pillow was dirty!!!!! They came and changed the sheets! True nightmare! The breakfast was a waste of money!!! Do not waste your time and money! Go down the street to ihop! Spent over 60$ on breakfast to serve fake runny scrambled eggs! Everything else was good and rubbery _ my kids ended up eating cereal! Paid $65 for cereal!

Too many problems! The Double Tree is a large hotel located just off the interstate. It is difficult to get in and out of the parking. I experience a number of issues with this place. First off, the hotel has 20 stories and a very limited number of luggage racks (none when I checked in). The only available ice machine in the entire hotel was located on the 20th floor, all the others were out of order! The bathroom was very small and there was virtually no place to put any of your toiletries by the sink. The room was very dark, could not read sitting on the bed. The TV reception kept cutting in and out and was out for most of the evening. This hotel offers no free breakfast but did have a rather expensive buffet available.

Average stay for above average price. At first we were fairly pleased but things went downhill as we realized what we were paying versus what we were getting. Having the resturant on-site is nice, the food was good. Not surprisingly it is overpriced. Noise: We were on the 19th floor and the road noise was still bothersome. The doors slam shut up and down the hallway loud enough to be heard several rooms down. The walls are thin enough to hear your next door neighbor's intimate moments as well as their argument the next morning. Refrigerator: Our fridge never got below 46f which is above spoilage level so food could not be left in it. Consider it a drink cooler. Ice machines: Only 2 ice macines worked even though there were ice machines on every other floor. Security: The biggest issue is when we returned to our room after a long day out, the door wasn't shut completely. Now this has to be done purposely, as I stated before they slam shut. Housekeeping had been in and apparently thought they'd be going back in and didn't let it shut completely. I realize mistakes happen and we hadn't left anything of value so in the end, no harm was done. This is still a big mistake for any hotel. TopSwing: We paid 50 for 2 of us to play for an hour. We maybe got to play for 20. Our time was scheduled in advance yet the bar tender was left to set us up and show us how it worked. She turned it on and left no instructions. I don't think she had been taught much about it. The first bay we were in didn't seem to work. We went back and she put us in the other bay, it worked for about 20 minutes and then stopped registering our throws and wouldn't let us change games. After trying to figure it out ourselves we just told her we were leaving. This either needs to be kept in working condition. Someone needs to be assigned to work it or just get rid of it. Now for the saving grace of this hotel-the staff. All staff were friendly and seemed to want to be of assistance. Just not worth the price.

Dakota at the Front Desk is definitely Five Star… Dakota at the Front Desk is definitely Five-Star…. he was consistently professional and friendly. That, combined with a knowledgeable and energetic approach to all of the many things that the Front Desk manages for every customer, made each guest feel comfortable, and confident, in their choice of the Doubletree Campbell Center for their trip to Dallas. His attention to details of my stay made all the difference. Thank you for a GREAT STAY! - Eric L.

Amazing! This was the first time I stated this Doubletree and I was very pleased with the accommodations, and the service. Everyone I interacted with was extremely professional, and I really appreciated the friendliness. I had breakfast at their restaurant and it was awesome.
