Quick but pleasant stay The reception from valets to check in was warm and very welcoming. The service was friendly and attentive. We have no complaints and would stay here again as well as recommend to others. The hotel restaurant was shockingly good. We don’t come to expect good food at hotels but we were pleasantly surprised.

Construction in residence directly above our room ruined our stay We stayed for 2 nights and throughout the 2 days we had the constant noise of construction happening in a residence directly above our room. When I contacted the front desk they first offered 30,000 points to make up for the experience as they cannot do anything about the Ritz Carlton residences above the hotel rooms. I let them know that points mean nothing to me. They then offered a $200 credit. I paid $1,900 for 2 nights AFTER this credit. This is not how other luxury hotels would have handled this. I suggested comping a night or a future stay. The response was the $200 credit for 2 days of construction noise throughout both days. Very disappointing. They also need more than one person working their pool area. Everyone makes up their own chairs! Water glasses remained unfilled. Very disappointing.

VERY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE My wife and i stayed here mid April in an Executive Suite. The room did not have a microwave, but we called prior to the visit and they had one in the room for us. We arrived a little early before the room was ready, but the staff held our luggage for us as we went out to a store for about an hour. When we initially waited, some rude customer was talking down to one of the staff members at the front desk. They put up with a lot of rudeness from visitors, but they keep their professionalism. quick, immediate service if you need something. My wife and I will definitely stay here again!

Great Mother/Daughter Weekend Stayed here for four nights with my adult daughters. We had a jr. suite on the club level. It was a lovely visit! The concierge helped me in advance plan a wonderful itinerary for sightseeing along with fabulous restaurants. They were readily available during our stay and always on point with recommendations! We found our room to be perfect and more than enough space for 3 adults! Although a bit outdated with decor and furnishings. Club level was worth it for us - we utilized it several times every day. Staff was always pleasant. I thought the variety of food and drinks was fabulous! Would highly recommend the club floor! The bar was really fun with a great bartender. People watching there was priceless and a very good time! There were only two cons - the gym was so outdated for a five star resort. Needed a major facelift. The housekeeping lacked significantly. Didn't show up two of the four days we were there? Had to call front desk to have towels brought up and never had turn down? I am not one to fuss when on a vacation so didn't make a big deal...however, it did really bother me! The reason you pay extra for a Ritz is for exceptional service. Dropped the ball in that department. Location is perfect and the house car was superb when it was available! All in all it was a great stay! I highly recommend Nick and Sams for dinner! Best night out while we were there! Enjoy!!

Ritz Carton, well passed its sell by date. The hotel itself is an impressive looking building well situated in downtown Dallas. Check in staff was excellent. The room was a large corner King, very spacious, comfortable and well stocked. Hotel offers PPE and Purell on request, room service due to social distancing will deliver to your door, however it is rare to see anyone other than staff in masks. There is a solid gym & outdoor pool, staff was very attentive & helpful. Unfortunately there were a few issues that arose during the trip which would have me hesitate to return. On the evening we arrived I ordered grilled salmon from room service, it arrived full of pin bones, after a couple of bites I decided dinner wasn’t worth the risk. Surprised to find the chefs at a Ritz too lazy to properly pull the pin bones before service. When wanting to shower before dinner, I found the water a deep orange. It was corrected within a couple of hours however showers remained cold. There is better value for money in Dallas, I would give the Ritz a pass on my next trip.
