Top Notch! What more can I say but, I've been here since around September 2022 and enjoy it as much as a home. ALL the staff are top notch. General Manager Tracy Caldwell shows genuine concern for you, your needs, and your comfort. The Rooms are quiet for a hotel and kept extremely clean as well by hard working staff at every level. Also, it's a minor convenience but the Coffee is great as well ;-)

Tracey at the front desk is awesome!! Tracey that was working the night shift at the front desk. He was VERY helpful and went out of his way—above and beyond when I had issues with my checkin. If you’re looking for a clean place to stay—I definitely recommend staying at this Extended Stay America-Chicago-Darien. Hopefully Tracey will be there when you are checking in. Thank you, Tracey (my hero last night)!!!

Reception is what makes the stay good or bad I just want to give a shout-out to Wilfredo I checked in a few hours into his shift and he was fresh, happy, cordial, big smile and made me feel like home He's an example of what everyone should be like

don't stay here The fully stocked kitchen has no supplies. You have to go to the desk and request it. They only had one plate, a cup and silverware to give me. The plate was dirty. They don't even leave a hair dryer in the room. The room was filthy. The bathroom door black from dirt. Floors and bathroom just surface cleaned., Dirty in the corners. I was suppose to stay 10 days. No cleaning of the room in that time. You can bring your dirty towels to the front desk and they will swap out. Wrote to corporate office about my stay but never heard back. Also did not feel safe in that parking lot at night.

Front Desk Ebony She greets everyone with a smile. She helps out cleaning the rooms when understaffed. She is very knowledgeable when you ask about anything involving the room or the vending machines or laundry. She offers to help carry groceries when your hands are full. Ebony is an asset to this hotel and I hope the company knows how good of a person they have. She is definitely a 10 in my book.
