Regal Palms Resort and Spa

Not that bad This review is only about the resort and not the lodging/house. My family and I stayed at this resort June 9-13. We booked our lodging through a Airbnb owner after extensive research. Some of the reviews scared me and I thought about cancelling but I'm glad I didn't. Was this spot great absolutely not, there's room for improvement but we had a great vacation. We were able to check-in at the front office 4 hours before our Airbnb was ready. I went to the fitness center and my family went to the lazy river/pool area. Fitness Center: Extremely lacking, the equipment is very old, one treadmill's incline was broken, the leather seating and grips were cracking and there are no free weights which really sucks. Management makes you turn in your license in order to get a "pass", the way others were walking in and out to use the sauna and bathrooms I doubt you really need it. But I was able to do a partial workout so no foul Onsite Restaurant/Bar: Much better off going elsewhere, you'll get better quality and quantity. It's basic bar food and watered down drinks. Lazy River/Pool: This is the highlight of the resort, there is a small slide, two pool areas and a lazy river. I witnessed employees keeping it clean throughout the day removing bugs and leaves. It was slightly crowded because the area isn't very big but everyone was friendly. Our teens rushed back here after spending the days at the parks. Location: There are grocery stores, restaurants and bars nearby however you are 25 minutes away from the parks so if you are looking to be close on the "strip" this isn't the spot for you.

Big unit but far from Amenities Florida is HOT and they limit your temperature setting in your unit - nothing under 72 F. The pool is very nice but our unit was quite a distance from all of it. They also need to do a better job of advertising what attractions are close to the area.

Worst Rental Ever! The check-In process was horrible. The clerk was discourteous and uncooperative. The room was in a deplorable state. Very dirty, stinky, and outdated. I rented this room via Legoland Website and honestly thought that it would be comfy and appropriate to cost but it was way below our expectations. Pillows were hard, sheets in the master bedroom smelled like urine, furniture is peeling off, both sofas in the living room is stained and soiled, carpet on the second floor was disgustingly filthy, bathrooms only had one curtain (which means you have to clean the floor every time someone showers), no paper towel in the kitchen, kitchen sponge to wash dishes old and used, definitely the worst experience ever. Legoland should NOT be partnering and offering vacation packages with these villas on their website.

An airbnb disguised as a timeshare Arrived at 1 pm did a pre check in told room will be ready at 4 went grocery shopping came back at 4 room not ready gave me a number to the management company of the unit i am in. Called number no answer or call back why should i call isn't that the front desks job all the front desk is there for is checking you in and out only .talked to person in charge of timeshares said they had a late check out Made it to my unit around 5. tile floors were dirty feet and socks were black. Called management company about the wifi password left message again no call back. Did find password after a 30 minute search. I am more upset With RCI to allowed this type of unit to be exchanged no management company on site no house keeping on site no maintenance dept on site. no help from front desk only give you a number to call that no one answers or calls back. I can rent an airbnb without owning a timeshare or belonging to RCI and paying all their fees

Scam!!! I had booked a room with this company but unfortunately due to COVID I had to cancel my trip and I canceled a whole week before my reservation. I canceled In writing and over the phone. Got confirmation and waited very patiently for my refund. It’s been over a month and no refund. I got paper work of everything and every time I call they give me same BS. That they refunded but when I called bank they said nothing had been refunded. So I ended up calling my bank to dispute and this company had the nerve to fight dispute and my bank gave them money again. So now I have to go to bank In person and bring proof of everything that I have. Showing proof that I did everything by the book to cancel my reservation. Good luck getting your money back if you cancel. Even paid protection plan if I had to cancel. Scam to the fullest! Waited so much time trying to get my money back and it’s been a nightmare.
