Wonderful Oregon District Experience This is a really cool, authentic older home in a very walkable, historic neighborhood (the Oregon District) with neat stores, coffee shops and restaurants.
I stayed in the Port Room which was quite spacious. There is a lot of common area on the 1st floor with coffee, snacks, juice, fruit, etc always available.

Wonderful experience!! What an amazing experience we had at this historical bed and breakfast! Our hosts were accommodating and friendly. Leslie made us feel very welcome and treated us like family. Super location close to lots of restaurants. It was nice to have continental breakfast items available all day in case you wanted a snack. The beds were comfortable and cozy and the rooms were large. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Accommodations in a Great Location We feel so fortunate that we stayed here on our first visit to Dayton, because it was such a friendly, warm introduction to the area. The accommodations were perfect for us. For a very reasonable price, we had the Oporto suite, which included a kitchen. And the location was perfect, right in the Oregon District just steps away from some wonderful restaurants and bookstores. Like other reviewers noted, it was great having a parking space with our name on it! And the common areas were wonderful. It was nice staying in an inn with history and charm and an amazing attention to detail.

If you don't like the idea of sleeping with Ghosts, don't stay here! BEWARE! When I checked in to the Inn, I was shown around the property and was told by the owner that there was "a friendly ghost" that resided upstairs in the attic. The room that I rented was also upstairs on the other side of the attic door. When I could not stay in the room because I was too afraid to close my eyes, I left the premises. I expressed my fear to the owner and requested a refund for my nights stay. She was harsh, not friendly and not agreeable. Very very bad customer service. I would have been fine if she wouldn't have thought it was funny to tell me about the ghost!

Very unique "boutique" hotel, almost B&B experience if you are not interested in that "big box" chain-hotel experience but like to experience highly personal charme, this is your hotel.
We were surprised, it was almost like a small Bed&Breakfast.
First: after calling and inquiring about parking, we arrived to see a sign with our name on it, reserving a spot. how neat!
Reception was very lovely, the lobby doubles as a wine-shop and we ended up buying a lovely French white to remove the dust of the road, so to speak.
We ended up having (nearly) a whole apartment to ourselves, with a room with "old antique" furniture.
The hotel is right on the main street of night live and restaurants (not even 1 block), so everyone is in walking distance.
All told, would stay there any time again!
