The Shores Resort & Spa

Always an exceptional stay! The shores is simply the best! It’s always a pleasure to stay here! The staff is excellent, the food is always wonderful and it’s immaculately clean! Dominic was our valet, he was professional, friendly and helpful. We were served champagne at check-in and offered s’mores every night!! The food is amazing, we ate at the pool tiki bar, fun atmosphere and wonderful bar tenders . Our room was cleaned everyday fresh towels & coffee/water restocked. Never had to ask for a thing!! We stayed after a bad storm rolled through and they handled it with class. Always our first choice when visiting Daytona !

Paige is the best massage therapist We had Paige as our massage therapist and it was amazing. Thanks Paige we really enjoyed our relaxing weekend. He had a deep understanding of massage thecquines and body mechanics that may have been causing the pain in the first place. It made our trip

Nice place Liam our valet was the coolest and took great care of us. The room was nice and the whole place smelled great lol We had a bit of a rough dining experience. Our server was rude to my husband but other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay! The blackout curtains work great in our room so it was cold and dark and perfect for sleeping!! Lol

The Shores is the best! If you are looking for a hotel or a venue for a special event, you definitely want to come to The Shores. The resort is so beautiful, the staff is incredible, and the beach views are fantastic.

Nothing as expected, NOT worth the money. Very disappointed. Great experience checking in.  All downhill from there.  I was EXTREMELY DISSAPPOINTED! No privacy in the room.  I was laying on the bed when our next door neighbor went to the corner of his balcony then turned around and looked directly at me.  I booked an ocean view room to see the ocean, not keep the curtains closed.  For the price of this room, I would have expected privacy, a microwave, a decent size TV, and room service each day.  Why should I have to ask for clean towels? The evening we arrived, the Tiki bar wasn't even open, so we went inside and ordered two drinks that were absolutely terrible.  The bartender seemed to have an attitude as well.  Drinks were thrown away as soon as we got back outside. Since when is a pina colada pink? And a mojito made with water and crushed mint leaves?   Not impressed at all with the food for the price either.  I expected everything we ordered to be much better tasting than what I can get at a fast food restaurant.  We sat at a table directly beside the Tiki bar one day for a few hours.  Not once were we asked if we needed service, although the food we ordered at the bar was served to us at the table. I watched a young man walking around serving other people but we had to get up and stand at the bar to ask for drinks.  Our empty bottles, cups and dishes were all left on our table for the entire time we sat there. The cabanas on the pool deck have to be rented for $150/day.  On their website, it appears as if the cabanas are amenities, indicating anyone can use them.  How disappointing.  And forget trying lounge chairs on the pool deck.  Plenty of empty ones but with guests' belongings next to them all day long.  Maybe you have to rent those too?  We didn't bother asking. My son and his family came to visit and had a terrible experience in the elevator.  It didn't trap them in but my son said it would drop down, then stop, go up, stop again, several times.  He got back in it by himself later and he said it went down so fast that his ears popped.   Lastly, we had to wait an hour for a cart to take our belongings to the car when we wanted to depart.
