Exceptional customer service and friendly staff. The stay was wonderful with one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on. Nice and quiet room with great views. The entire staff made us feel very comfortable. The renovation's to this older Hotel kept most of the original architecture giving the building a great feel and atmosphere that made the rooms more welcoming.

Worst room ever 702 The air conditioner was broken the entire weekend. They gave us a fan. No other rooms available. The keys did not work. Two lamps were broken. One did not function at all. The bath grout was black. No ice on the floors so had to wait on hold to order it. Worst hotel stay ever and we got ripped off. $1200 for two nights.

Sub-par Very disappointing. Expected a lot more based on the price and reviews. Room was sort of run down, doors creaked, towels thin. Temp in the room certainly didn't match the thermostat and turning it down didn't seem to matter. Housekeeping upon request although the room was serviced when not requested and wasn't when when requested. Bathroom wasn't well lit, minimal counter space and no fan. $10 food and bev credits were restricted to one per day which means at least one is useless if you have a late check in or early check out. Noise level was high from barking dogs and street traffic.

Relax in quiet luxury Their claim is the original boutique hotel, and it is the standard of what a boutique hotel should be. Even though it is next to the performing arts center, it is quiet, distinguished, and sophisticated. The front desk attendants were helpful in getting us a Lyft when needed, and the social hour in the lobby is an extra plus. The rooms are small, but luxurious. The breakfast at the restaurant is one of the best in town. The happy hour is a great way to start the evening, and the staff in the restaurant are friendly and helpful. There are just a few tweeks that will elevate the experience even further. First, we were told that if we wanted housekeeping service that we needed to let the front desk know. We weren't told that you need to do that by 11am of that day or they won't do it at all. So, definitely know that before going. Second, while the bathrooms are spacious, they could use a freshening up of decor and upgrades with the coffee service. Third, things like getting ice or getting rides seemed to be difficult. Maybe hire a few more staff so the ones that are there aren't stretched so thin. They do a great job, so let them shine even more!

Stay at the Hotel Teatro in downtown Denver! Downtown Denver is always great, but our stay at Hotel Teatro made it better than ever. We received 5 plus star customer service from Mary Alico and Matthew Slavsky. While good service is rare, exceptional customer service is almost non-existent-until you stay here. These two made our stay memorable and set a new standard for us. Thank you, Mary and Matthew, for treating us so well! As a side note, when Matthew sees your date of birth, he knows what day of the week you were born. I dug that.
