Nothing special for a Westin The craziest part about this hotel is the boiling hot water coming out of the tap at 3am. I about scalded my hands. For the rest, it was a decent enough property. I feel my standards are slightly higher for a Westin, from there three stars. The same hotel at holiday inn prices would have received five. Nothing special, but also nothing wrong except for the boiling water (which the staff member at checkout wasn’t too concerned about).

Westin Denver 4 stars? Not! This is definitely not a four star hotel. And shame on anyone who rated it that way. No help with luggage (used COVID as an excuse), check in was ridiculous because computers were down, manager finally let us in our room. Hotel is very tired looking, dark, and has NO dining. We had a patio room, and the patio was the only positive I can say about the room. A/C was loud and thermostat didn’t work properly. We had to have the a/c filter replaced immediately because it was filthy. Mold and mildew in the shower that I pointed out to the manager. Bathroom needed a good scrub, top to bottom. Open bottle of water was left in the room from previous guest. Carpet was horrible - old, dirty and lumpy. Patio door had big gaps on top and bottom. Engineer tried to fix with extra wide weather stripping but gaps were just too big. Three days was more than enough - won’t stay there again. By the way, we then checked into another Westin, in Avon Colorado, and it has been an awesome experience. It was truly a four star property, and they helped with our bags!

Nice Location - Horrible Service My family and I stayed at this hotel recently for three nights. Our room did not get cleaned after the first night, and we figured it was possibly one of the last rooms on the list for the day, so we asked for clean towels and skipped the room cleaning. This happened again the next day and we called the front desk to ask for our room to get cleaned, and they said they are not doing regular housekeeping due to a staff shortage, and that if we wanted our room cleaned that we would have to ask a day in advance, and that they could take us trash bags and toiletries up to our room and that would be it. So we paid Westin prices for hostel service, which is unacceptable, staff shortage or not! Our room was not cleaned during the entire three night stay. Had we been told about this issue when we checked in, we would have taken the appropriate measures to get our room serviced.

Nice location, a little dated We enjoyed our stay at the Westin. We were looking for a hotel close to Coors Field and this was perfect! The front desk was great to answer questions at check in. The rooms are a little dated, but I feel like most downtown rooms are. Overall it was a nice hotel and I would stay here again.

The location and the pool are the best parts! The hotel was nice, clean, quiet, and in a great location. The pool was AMAZING! It was heated, on the 4th floor, and was both inside and out. This was our favorite part of the hotel. The staff was limited but you could tell they were doing their best. They were all so nice and helpful and provided us extra bottled water. I like that the staff doesn't enter your room if you're staying multiple nights. We spent more time at the hotel than we initially planned because Denver's homeless population is huge in this area and a bit aggressive at times. Obviously this is not a reflection on the hotel - just an observation for other travelers. It was really close to the 16th Street Mall and right around the corner from the Corner Bakery, which we loved.
