Very "OK" I've stayed before and once again had the same experience. The Good: It's convenient and not as expensive as the other more modern hotels in town. Nice to have a balcony. Nice to have a working coffee maker in room. Overall, mostly newer and neat (though there were some ants along the edge of the wall in the living area) The rest of the review is very mixed. The room was huge but oddly chopped up with nooks that had no apparent purpose. How about sticking a coat rack in one? Or at least some hooks/towel racks? How about an extra sink outside the bathroom? What about adding a 2nd full length mirror in another spot? Or a 2nd dresser and microwave? Most recently we stayed in a suite to accommodate another person on a pull out sofa bed. The bed in the bedroom was only a double which was uncomfortably small and too firm. The sheets were scratchy and the pillows were oddly lumpy. There were holes in the drapes. Several times we had to request housekeeping as they never cleaned our room once during our entire stay. Trash was never emptied. We had to request new towels twice. Had to also request sheets and bedding for the pull out sofa. The worst part of the room was the inconsistent hot water. The sink was completely cold water. Even after running the tub water for 10 minutes it never warmed up. Cold to lukewarm showers were the norm -- with a very brief window where the water suddenly got scorching hot (and at least could be adjusted to get my hair washed!) before turning cold again. Other than that, the Playboy legacy is overdone. I would modernize the decor and get rid of most of that except maybe in a select spot in the lobby. Kind of tacky now. Staff was fine. Elevators worked fine. But everything else was a big Meh.

So far not so good Review might change but based on first day+ it’s not been great. Maybe understaffed or disorganized but long waits to check in; staff friendly but don’t always follow through on resolving issues. Even after asking/reminding staff room hadn’t been cleaned-twice, in person- walked into uncleaned room at 9 pm. After explaining situation to desk staff this morning despite reassurance room is only now being cleaned 10:05 am. Will see if matters improve but so far I’m not very impressed nor pleased. This after Many rooms reserved for family wedding celebration weekend!

A wonderful hotel that will exceed your expectations in Denver I spent 4 nights here and could not be more pleased with my experience. The hotel staff, those at the front desk in particular, are exceptional. I came in without a reservation and they went out of their way to help, ensuring I was able to check in to a great room. My room, a one bedroom queen suite was spacious, well appointed, spotlessly clean and had a large balcony with great views of downtown Denver. The property, although the exterior is somewhat aged, is also updated, thoughtfully designed and maintained with care and an obvious attention to detail. Lobby and public spaces are comfortable and welcoming. The rooftop pool not huge, but is heated, well maintained and the pool deck offers plenty of space to lay out and relax. The breakfast was easily among the best I’ve had at any hotel. Perfectly prepared scrambled eggs, high quality, well prepared bacon and sausages, a nice pastry selection and exceptional coffee. And all of this for a more than reasonable nightly rate. I paid $145ish a night for a package that included the room, valet parking, breakfast and en evening cocktail. (The extras came from signing up for the Warwick loyalty program, which is free and well worth doing before booking), This was my first time staying here and now The Warwick is easily my favorite hotel in Denver. It absolutely exceed all expectations. So much so that we decided to book a room at the Warwick in San Francisco for a trip we’re taking there next month.
