Sweet and Peaceful Desert Escape The front desk staff were all very nice. The grounds are very beautiful and relaxing...and we left feeling refreshed. This is a true healing/relaxation sound bath, it was the best one I have been to, and I've been to many! The management could use improvement. The place seems somewhat disorganized when it comes to booking, etc.

Exceptional Resort Exceptional Resort Upon arriving we were greeted by name through multiple staff that knew exactly what we wanted and needed. Our rooms were immaculate, spacious, with gorgeous views. Every request was excitedly accommodated. Their care and concern for our satisfaction is the primary reason we will be going back.

Nice pools but scammy vibe - multiple over charges, mismanaged billing I went to two palms for a birthday And although the resort was Serene and the pools were magnificent, The overall discontinuity in service And mismanagement of billing left a really bad taste in all of our mouths. We booked the wellness for one person in my room and since I didn’t want the 3 mandatory spa treatments and didn’t need $120 in food A day I opted to be the second person in a double occupancy room and choose not to upgrade to the wellness for the second person. Well, upon arrival the check in was pretty standard and the staff was kind and bought our bags to our room. The confusion started when we had our first meal which we were told was supposed to be a separate “wellness menu” that half the staff was informed of and the other half had different answers.. such as there was no separate wellness menu and “$120 of food would be comped per day at the end of the trip”. That does not settle well when you don’t know how much you’ve spent that day and they comp half the meals and not the other half but expect you to sign the receipts and pay tip but “they’ll sort the comps out at the end when you check out”. I ended up paying on my own credit card for half the meals because I didn’t want to end up with $2000 in food and spa charges at the end of a week trip when I had an early flight the day I checked out. So the food situation was confusing and everything was overpriced including $9 bottle water and $15 bottled juices. The lack of signage was frustrating since we were in the very back I got lost at least 4-5 times trying to find the restaurant and reception and spa areas. The staff on hand was not well informed although they were nice. The food menu was limited and not really enjoyable for the entirety of a week long stay especially with the confusion of where we were on the comps and it being put off until the end. At the end during checkout the lady at the front was unable to change any charges (make sure to get an itemized receipt) as we were charged an extra $120 a night for an extra person on the wellness plan, which we did not authorize nor did I receive benefits for) so it just seemed like a disorganized racket. One example- I booked a wrap for $265 weeks before the trip and when I arrived for the treatment the price was $305 and they wanted me to sign off on it before sorting the correct price. It was only after several hours and talking to several staff members about the incorrect charge they changed anything. There were complaints from several staff members we talked to about the disorganized management and the frustration of them being misinformed. In hindsight I would have booked somewhere else because of the hassle. The charges we were over charged still have not been rectified and the management has failed to contact us about the bill several days after checkout. Other members of my party reported inaccurate over charges as well and the overall experience was disappointing, we felt taken advantage of and frustrated by the whole experience. If you are not concerned at all about getting the prices you think you are getting and don’t mind being over charged and having little fees you didn’t approve slip into your bill, then this place is fine. For anyone watching their money and trying to be fiscally responsible, this place is more of a headache than it’s worth.

So many other good places to stay….avoid this place I have wanted to stay at Two Bunch Palms for over 30 years. I finally made a reservation in early May. I knew immediately as we walked to our room, that this resort had seen better days. I should’ve come 30 years ago! Our room was #300 and it has been renovated but….well, it’s like a Motel 6 room. I looked out at the patio hoping for some ambiance—nope. A couple of cheap chairs that’s it, no table. There is no chair to sit in in the room. There is a refrigerator stocked with things they want you to buy. The only platform to put stuff on, also has many things they want you to buy (chips and things) so it’s difficult to settle in, as there is no room to put anything basically. Also there is NO coffeemaker! Who does that to a traveler, especially when the restaurant is a 10 minute hike away. The room has a safe but it’s high on a shelf in the closet, so you can’t really see if you’ve gotten all your stuff out. But I’m glad they had a safe. The shower and bathroom were fine. There were no towel racks. And no hook for a bathrobe or towel. Weird. The bed was good and the TV worked, as did the A/C. The pools were pretty nice. That is worth going for. Some guests were having a discussion very loudly, and I guess they’ve never stayed at a spa before. Everyone emptied out the tubs around them, and shortly after arriving in the tub adjacent to theirs, I left too. The place has a weird vibe. Maybe they are changing owners? The place could definitely use an infusion of cash for repairs etc. If you stay make sure you check your bill carefully. We were charged $200 for incidentals when we arrived which I am accustomed to. We had a good burger at the restaurant. That was charged also to my credit card. Then when we left I noticed a $211 charge for a room service dinner the night before. It wasn’t ours so I texted them to look into it, meanwhile the original $200 for incidentals hadn’t fallen of the charge, but was fully charged. So we worked it out over a few days, but I think someone there is lining their pockets. Just check your bill carefully. Needless to say we’ll never be back, and my fantasy of Two Bunch Palms is completely settled.
