STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL! RUN! FIND ANOTHER HOTEL - ANY HOTEL OTHER THAN THIS ONE! I am a top tier IHG member and this is the WORSE hotel I have ever stayed in. We had a family reunion and booked 30 rooms. If we had known this was not one of the chain hotels, but is privately owned, we would not have stayed there. The owner runs the hotel like a slum landlord. None of the hotel room phones worked. Each room had a defect (holes in the walls) or problem (crickets and roaches). The hotel is not kept up and the owner does not care. The food is subpar and the same EVERY day. It seems like they store what is not eaten and put it out the next day. To try to smooth all the problems over they gave our family an ice cream social. It was horrible! The ice cream was melted. Their freezers do not work properly which makes one wonder "how are they freezing the food until they cook it"? Pics are of Room 103 and show how dirty the elevators and rooms were our entire stay. I also uploaded pics of room 224. My sister and her husband were in the lobby and while there housekeeping changed their bedding. When they went back to their room, they found a bloody top cover on their bed. Housekeeping had put a "DIRTY" top cover on their bed, and it had blood on it! DISGUSTING! When it was reported to the Manager Jessie all he said is he would check with his staff. That was on Friday. Jessie did not respond again until Monday and all he said was 'I stand behind my staff and they do not know about anything about that." The fact that he did not rectify the situation when it was reported on Friday, try to find out how that happened and at the least have the room recleaned, showed how poorly he manages the property. Even if he thought my sister of 67 years of age could still menstruate, why was the cover not changed??????? It was not her and he did not care. I actually walked in the lobby and heard him laughing about it with a front desk clerk. There were so many issues that I cannot list them all. Finally, I will say corporate should close down this location immediately or disassociate with the owner and its employees. They give Holiday Inn a bad name!

Not good First, we arrived and my online check in hadn’t worked even though it had said it was successful on my end. The front desk staff were not friendly. We get checked in and we get upstairs and realize this is not the room we booked. We need to sleep six, this doesn’t have a sofa sleeper. I go back down to remedy this and she says if I want to sleep six I need to put a note in the comments even though I booked a queen suite with 2 beds and a sofa pull out that literally already says sleeps six. She says there’s one suite with no pull out sofa and that’s the room they gave me. Eventually she says they’re sold out but have one upgrade of a king accessible suite left I can have. This room was absolutely filthy and gross. Gross to the point we slept and didn’t shower or touch anything we didn’t have to. The carpet was ripping up, it was stained, it smelled, walls by the bathroom had brown smears. I go down again and am greeted by and even less enthusiastic employee who tells me there’s nothing she can do but offer me 10k rewards points and talk to a supervisor. I ask for bedding at least for the pull out. She gives me a blanket and says they’re out of pillows. There was a baseball tournament in town which pretty much eliminated all other choices for us. We were traveling on a family vacation and had no idea. Main takeaways are the employees were so rude and unhelpful. When I came down to say it was the wrong room, the employee started at me for a solid three minutes from two feet away as she finished laughing with a coworker instead of helping me. I had just checked in with 3 kids after 7 hours of driving and it was late. It annoyed me quite a bit. And if you’re booking a kind accessible suite, beware. Absolutely filthy. And the pool, don’t even bother. The area doesn’t feel safe as well. The manager never reached out to me, I finally reached out to them a few days later. I was given a full refund from them and an apology. That was appreciated but doesn’t change the poor experience we had. Also, don’t think just bc you’ve booked a room you’re going to get what you’re paying for. They tried to internally downgrade my room without saying it hoping I wouldn’t notice I guess. I booked on IHG website to avoid any miscommunication between websites on what I chose and still didn’t get what I booked.

If I could give less than one star, I would This has got to be the worst Holiday Inn I have ever been to. Being a platinum elite I have stayed at a lot at Holiday Inn. I was not greeting as an IHG member, but I really could care less about it. We had planned a girls weekend and I booked a 2 king bed room. When we went to check in, they said I booked a to two queen room. I booked this directly through the Holiday Inn app not through a third-party. I showed the girl my reservation through the email and on the app that both stated I booked a two king room. I asked if in fact they did have two king beds rooms just in case it was a computer glitch of the description of the room. She informed me that they do have those rooms but they were already given out. Not once did she apologize for the mixup. She kept telling me, you booked a two queen that’s what I have in my system. I told her obviously the person whoever did the room assignments messed up and gave us a two queen instead of two King. She kept arguing I’m the one that booked the two queen, even after showing her my reservation confirmation. So we took the queen bed room. We left to go to dinner while we were out eating a major rain storm came through. We came back to the ceiling leaking in multiple spots in our room the carpet soaked along with our clothing and shoes. We went down to the lobby to talk to the front desk, and they told us our only option was to keep the room or go to another hotel. No one apologized for it. No one compensated us for the damaged items or wet items. It had to be the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. I was completely shocked at the lack of empathy from the person working the desk. A simple apology goes a long way. I kept my cool I did not raise my voice. I just accepted what she told me and went on my way. And then we pack our stuff and went to another hotel.

Very nice hotel A very nice hotel, that is far enough from the interstate so that traffic noise is not an issue. The hotel appears recently built. Our room was large and clean. Considering that many hotels have stopped or reduced breakfast choices due to covid, their free breakfast was one of the best we have recently had.

BED BUGS I visited on 07 January 2022. Late in the evening, I was startled by movement on my pillow. To my dismay, I discovered it was an insect. The lights were very dim, so I was not sure what type of insect it was at the time. I got up and turned on the lights. At that time, I discovered BED BUGS crawling all over the adjacent bed that was occupied by my family members. I was PETRIFIED!! It was around 3-4am, and I'm yelling for everyone to wake up immediately! Unfortunately, my sister had already been covered in bites...arms, back, FACE. I instantly went to the front to report the issue. The front desk associate didn't even blink an eye upon hearing my complaint. This led me to believe that this was not an isolated incident. I demanded a refund on the spot. Before leaving, the front desk associate took pictures of my sister's bed bug bites, and assured us the problem would be rectified. We all have pictures and videos of the disgusting conditions, and remain traumatized from the events. I'm a 20yr military war veteran, I have traveled around the world, slept outside in tents for months on end...NEVER have I discovered an insect in my bed. Shame on Holiday Inn Express and IHG Hotels & Resorts!
