No good The stay was excellent but the service was not. The people were racist in the kitchen and at the reception. My children were playing in the pool and they were scolded three times because people from Comorcles were bothering us because of the noise and the feet of children. I finally understood that in Florida they are racist if you are black or speak another language.

Very Dated Embassy Suites **Review: Embassy Suites by Hilton Miramar Beach, Destin, FL** **Negatives:** To begin, this is not an oceanfront resort despite what the advertisements might suggest. The photos on their website are misleading, giving the impression of an oceanfront location and ocean view rooms. In reality, the hotel is situated across the street from the ocean. Upon arrival, my family and I were not acknowledged as Hilton Honors members. The front desk clerk was very rude and showed no patience for a family that had just traveled for hours. The hotel itself is severely outdated. There were rust spots everywhere, the lobby carpet smelled and was extremely dingy, and the lobby chairs were stained to the point where we felt uncomfortable sitting down. The furniture throughout the hotel was dated, the ceilings had leaky spots, and rust stains ran down the walls. This is the most outdated Hilton property I have ever stayed at. Our bathroom toilet had rust stains around it, and the comforter on the bed had a nasty stain. Housekeeping refused to change the comforter, and the sheets were also stained, forcing us to purchase our own sheets. The outdoor pool area was similarly old and dated, with dirty pool chairs. I would not recommend anyone stay here as this location is in serious need of a facelift. **Positives:** The only positive aspect of our stay was the good breakfast. Additionally, the hotel is about a 30-minute drive to the strip area or Crab Island, which is convenient for those looking to explore those attractions. **Conclusion:** Overall, my experience at Embassy Suites by Hilton Miramar Beach was disappointing. The misleading advertisements, outdated facilities, and lack of cleanliness made for an unpleasant stay. I would not recommend this hotel to others and hope that it undergoes significant renovations soon.

Relaxing Summer Spot The hotel has a beautiful skylight. Dinner in the Calypso cafe was delicious, and the complimentary drinks each night were fabulous. We had a huge window with a view of beach from our room. Also just acrosss the street from few shops to stock up on sunscreen and beach gear. Can’t wait to return to stay here.

Nice stay with pros and cons We stayed at Embassy Suites by Hilton Destin Miramar Beach for 7 nights for our son's baseball tournament. Staff was friendly and helpful, some more than others. Restaurant was food was good, better than expected. The crab cakes were $45 but had a ton of crab in them. My husband had them 3 times while there. Keep in mind, we were there for a baseball tournament. We were exhausted after being outside all day and didn't feel like going out in the traffic or waiting but the food was good! We stayed on the top floor (4th) in a 2 queen room. It was spacious for a hotel. The bedroom had a door and the sitting area had a pull out couch. The living room is on the darker side as others have said. We kept the curtains closed for privacy. There are no balconies and not much of a view. The pool is on the small side. Embassy Suites offers free breakfast and that was nice. Each morning you could order an omelet, avocado toast, etc. along with scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon/sausage, biscuits, gravy, yogurt, assorted pastries/bagels/toast and juices/coffee/soft drinks. In the evenings they have Happy Hour. You receive a card for 2 free drinks and light appetizers (chips and dip/salsa). They only had one bartender while we were they so the line moved a bit slowly. Amy was always so nice and remembered us. On our last day, we decided to extend our stay and Ms. Trish at the front desk could not have been nicer or more helpful! She was absolutely wonderful! The hotel has private beach access across the street. You cannot put up a tent while beach service is available (until 5 pm). We rented chairs and an umbrella while there (2 chairs and an $45).
