Worth It We stayed in St Lucia Condo 804. The condo was really nice, clean and I would stay again. The 2 downfalls it had though was the air conditioning and the refrigerator. The ac only kept the living room and kitchen areas cool. Both bedrooms were to warm to be comfortable and the refrigerator door when closing it opened the freezer door and if you didn’t catch that it happened then the freezer door stayed open. All in all it was still a good experience.

They did the right thing I am sad to say that I didn’t get to have my Destin Florida vacation due to illness, but Compass did the right thing in refunding my stay. Because of their compassion and understanding, as soon as I am able to travel again I will certainly book with Compass. I look forward to staying in the St. Lucia building and enjoying all that the property has to offer. See you soon, Destin!

Fully renovated oceanfront unit, with a hot tub issue We stayed at Silver Shells, St. Croix, unit 801, a three bed/three bath, fully renovated oceanfront unit. Unit 801 is a 5 star unit - everything is top notch. However, we hit a snag with the hot tub at the resort. The hot tub policy at Silver Shells indicates ages "3 and up", which is a little odd for a hot tub at a resort. Typically, hot tub users have to be 16, or at least 13, but at SS, you only have to be three. Personally, I would never bring my three year old into a hot tub, but maybe I'm in the minority. In any case, for the 3 days we stayed at SS, the hot tub was monopolized from 8A-8P by little ones under 5, using it as a pool, jumping in, throwing toys, while their parents relaxed in the hot tub with their drinks, keeping half an eye on their fully contained little ones. Mind you, there is a huge heated pool as well as a kiddie pool at SS, but the hot tub policy clearly offered these parents an "out", where they didn't have to actively chase after their kids. My daughter actually took a picture from our balcony at 7:30PM, with the giant, heated pool completely empty and the hot tub packed to the edges with tiny kids and their parents. If the use of the hot tub is high on your relaxing vacation wishlist, this resort isn't for you.

Great Beach View, Interior Needs A Facelift We stayed at the St. Croix tower. Overall our stay was okay. The condo had some wear and tear which I expect from beach properties. The master bathroom shower tiles need replacing and the light fixture over the toilet was dirty and very dusty. The beds were very squeaky. The balcony doors do not lock. Most importantly the unit smelled like fish every day and we could not locate the source. I’m not sure if something was in the locked owners closet but it stinks and we constantly sprayed air freshener to mask it. The air conditioner being stuck on 75 and not lowering past 71 was uncomfortable. The bed linens felt old and worn. The beach service and pool were great and it was very enjoyable.

Meets the highest expectations Fall break with the family was fantastic. We stayed in St. Lucia on the eleventh floor . Delightful ocean views. The beach was great. The pool and hot tub were so enjoyable. The condo had a fully stocked kitchen for cooking. Check in and out was quick and easy.
