Very Nice Stay in Detroit - will change your mind about this city. Huge suite - clean and quiet and comped! Good meal at Tap. Much better front desk operations. Valet was much quicker. Very nice lady running the night shift at the Essentials Store. Special Kudos to her. Still did not hit a hand pay but hey it's gambling. Excellent room service.

Nice place but ask questions Always call and ask about if the pool & spa is open and working properly. The rooms are nice but the bed is a bit stiff if you prefer a harder bed. Some rooms have a tub and shower and some only have showers. Be sure to ask. The concierge floor has both tub and shower but no food was available on that floor.

Lovely relaxing stay Ernest was so helpful and her made it an experience to remember. Thank you Ernest and mgm hotel for my stay. I’ll return most definitely! I would recommend this hotel to anyone you wants to know where the great hotels are. No doubt. Thank you again!

Paper Thin Walls Walls are paper thin. Like the walls of a cheap apartment. If you have people partying or just unaware of how loud they can be, you won't get any rest. Even after we complained, our neighbors were still making a lot of noise. My wife barely got any sleep and I was woken up early by the same neighbors.

Not all that is is cracked up to be Dated hotel - run down and abused - carpets dirty and dingy half the facilities are unavailable - platinum benefits entitles you access to a coffee machine at the exit of the hotel which seems barely adequate. Club floor is closed "due to covid" - I wonder if this excuse (to cut services) will ever go away ?
