Great location and easy access The hotel is really close to the tram which gets to the centre in around 10 mins. Very handy. Stayed there for a week in the Euros and it is a good centre for the surrounding region The Rhine is an easy walk with a pleasant walk to the centre and lots of food and drink options along the way. The football stadium is equally accessible by foot or tram. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby. The executive lounge has a brilliant happy hour. Up to 4 hours! So the mad rush to get food and drink is unnecessary. Other Hiltons should take note! The food in the lounge was good too and some other reviews I’ve read have been rather unfair. The only negative for me as a vegan, was the limited choice of hot food at breakfast. But I would not hesitate to stay here again.

All the bad reviews and they are warranted! As Diamond members that have stayed 80 nights around the world year to date we can say this Hilton is bad! Check in. No thanks for your loyalty. Just “Your room ain’t ready yet” professionalism non-existent! No real upgrade. Just the pathetic upgrade to an Executive room. Asked about an upgrade to a newly renovated premium room and front desk girl said management doesn’t allow upgrades to those rooms and also none were available, which was a lie as the website showed several available. Went to bar for a beer to wait for room as no one offered us to wait in the executive lounge. Short poured me a beer at 6€. Then asked to wait in the executive lounge, but we would have to check on when the room was ready as they seemed unprofessional enough not to come get us. In the end to our surprise a front desk girl did come up and give us our keys. The room. Outdated is a nice word. AC made a loud racket and worked poorly. Mold by the AC vent. Mold in the bathroom. Bed was a joke as the box spring which used wood planks had several missing. See pic. Room had mini bar but no price list so we had to call down to the desk. Breakfast was nice. Greeter was the best employee in the hotel. Price! There was a convention in town and this place opportunistically price gouges. Prices were mid 300€ for months in advance with a two month cancel. There were plenty of rooms day of arrival and was the cheapest price in months on the Hilton website. So I would call there dynamic pricing ridiculous! We didn’t bother going to the executive lounge for their canapés and drinks as the checkin experience put us off so much that we knew it would be a waste of time and calories. So no comment! As we pass through DUS often we will avoid this hotel at all costs! Management needs to start working!

Alright for one night stay just never use the showere Unless you want to have your room become the Pacific Ocean don’t use the shower even with the curtain it does nothing and the shower head will constantly spin towards the floor and get all your clothes wet not happy and not to mention that the water has a force to of a jet engine ready to knock you off your feet

Awesome Staff! This is a wonderful place to stay. The employees are exceptional. Our luggage was lost our first night there and the hotel staff helped us out with some basic essentials. They made a bad situation so much better. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The location is convenient to public transportation and several excellent restaurants are in walking distance.
