DO NOT BOOK HERE! We are travelling the Lake Superior Circle Route, and booked 2 nights at this hotel. The hotel itself is very dated, shabby, and dirty. You are greeted by filthy carpets, and dirty surfaces everywhere you look. We were booked into a room with king bed. The bed had dirty sheets, there was a straw wrapper on the heater, and the bathroom was very poorly cleaned. There were water stains on the ceiling. We had to trek back down 12 floors in a dirty elevator, to speak with front desk and obtain a new room. We were given another room, one floor below, only to discover the bedding in this room was covered in long black hairs. At this point we booked into the nearby Holiday Inn! Radisson charged our card 926 Cdn! Which was refunded the next day. Then they charged us a 350 Cdn. no show fee! Which I have just had to call to have removed. This is the 3rd time we have had an issue with a Choice Hotel. Having just left one in Thunder Bay, also with dirty sheets and bugs in the room. Prior to that, we had a disappointing experience with a Choice Hotel in Niagara Falls. We are quite happy with our room at the Holiday Inn, Duluth. And we received s much better rate of 560 U.S. for both nights. Significantly cheaper than Radisson, with much better service and cleanliness.

Worst Stay Ever - Sleep in your car before you sleep here. I was concerned when I booked this, but it was the only room in town, and we were there for a graduation. I am a Hilton girl through and through, and this just proved to me why I should be. The hotel was filthy and filled with mold. In addition, we tried to eat in the restaurant upstairs; however, we could not as they had no staff, and the ones they did yelled at people the entire time. Looking back on it I am glad we did not eat, I am sure we would have gotten sick. In addition, they did fraud on my card.

Never again! I was so disappointed in this hotel. The heater didn’t work in our room either night, even after I complained after the first night. So my daughter and I slept in our coats. And the bathroom, gross!! Mold everywhere!! When they texted asking how happy I was with my first night, I told them everything and they said they would follow up with me shortly and nothing!

Raddison Duluth The hotel was good. Restaurant at the top spins for a 360 view of the lake. The food was not so good. Worst wild rice soup I’ve ever had. Service was good. Hotel staff were very helpful. Clean and Connie ant to where I needed to go. Not any other places to eat within walking distance.
