Top notch stay at a great hotel. Had a great visit to Dundee recently and stayed at this lovely hotel. Beautiful views whilst enjoying a very tasty breakfast. Excellent room, very comfortable with a massive bed. Huge shower and overall a great experience. Staff were excellent, very friendly and extremely helpful. Would highly recommend this venue and I will undoubtedly be visiting again.

Very pleasant experience The hotel is located in a quiet area with lovely views across the river from the dining room. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room was spacious with a good bathroom. We thought it might have been noisy as there were two weddings going on but we were not disturbed at all. Being able to charge our electric car for free (using tokens from Reception) was a welcome bonus.

Lovely hotel, staff need training Was here for a funeral service and tea afterwards. Lovely hotel and ballroom with beautiful views over the Tay. Sandwiches, sausage rolls and cakes were served and were really nice. Bar in the ballroom was open with a decent selection of drinks, although the bar staff were quite unhelpful and seemed annoyed to be there. Is it too much to ask for a glass with my bottled beer!?

Poor quality hotel Ive been a returning customer at Invercarse hotel since the 1970’s .
A recent visit for lunch was indeed an eye opener and sadly my opinion is that the hotel is now sadly in decline.
The lunch menu was strangely lacking in choice, eg : no steak pie , no chicken main course etc and so I had the “ Haddock “ and chips. The “ Haddock “ was almost tasteless and the fish meat was a bit dark in colour which made me wonder if it was in fact Haddock or perhaps substituted with something like Pollack instead.
It was probably frozen as it did not taste remotely fresh.
I know the difference having been an angler since the 60’s. The restaurant staff were a bit on the rough side for a hotel of this nature but I suspect they are only paid minimum wage and you get what you pay for.
I left feeling unappetised and my partner felt unwell not long after the meal and so we will never return .
I’m informed that the hotel changed hands a couple of years ago but the change hasn’t been for the better, unfortunately
