Do NOT stay here as a single female If you are traveling as a single female, I would NOT recommend you stay here. I was booked for 2 nights, but left after the first night. I did not feel safe there. Every room smells bad. There were lots of people there who clearly are drug users and even tho’ they don’t allow smoking, every room smelled of cigarettes. I didn’t want to walk on the floors without shoes, sit on the toilet seat or sleep in their beds. It all felt yucky and creepy.

Not recommended as a safe, comfortable or clean place to stay in RTP, especially for a solo traveler. Spent only one night there but that was enough. Parking lot was like a trash can. Hundreds of cigarette butts, wrappers/paper, empty soda/beer bottles/cans everywhere around building. Room smelled of smoke although motel is advertised as "nonsmoking". Mattress was well past needing to be replaced. Ceiling in room was peeling. Noise from other guests was unbelievable. Loud engines/cars, car alarms in middle of night, car radios blaring, guests talking on speaker setting of their phones just outside my room (in middle of night). If you are staying in motel, when the heck aren't you talking on your phone in YOUR room or even in your car, not in front of another guest's room? Impossible to sleep. Snack machine broken, soda machine had a "use at your own risk" note on it. Person, apparently living out of his truck, was on driveway leading up to motel during time I was there. Truck was full of personal items piled in cab and in back of truck. Passed the truck repeatedly while I was registered and man appeared to be either walking around the truck or walking into the woods behind the truck or sleeping in the cab of the truck. Find it difficult to believe the management has allowed this motel, right off I-40, to deteriorate to such a terrible condition. This used to be a budget motel but was clean and felt safe; that is no longer the case.

Stop Paying for EXTREMELY poor Customer service Upon check in found dirty towels in room. Asked come down to office n get them. Ok i understand the hotel industry is short of staff. Notice old cereal snd trash in cabinet next to frid, mold around tub, lamp shade badly stained and holes, rip in floor these , requested room cleaned early in day of course not done i was told only fo every 3 days or checked out room. There was no notice regarding this why i personally requested as is the norm in othet hotels, reluctantly housekeeping did come. And it gets worst. Turn on water in sink it came out brown and smelled awful. I got immediately sick to my stomach as i had brushed my teeth with contaminated water, same for shower. Had to buy water and go to friends house to bath as both me n my have health issues, ran water off andvon for several hours it still was horrible. The Final straw a roach was crawling up wall. Of no response or return call from front desk. Talk to customer relations Waiting for form to file a formal complaint. I asked for a refund forc2 nites, was offered 10% refund which i declined but credited to card anyway. Consumers have to stop excepting inferior service and PAY for it. I will be following up with management. But DONT BE FOOLED like me and believe they want customers to be 100% satisfactionul. I got 10% satisfaction that's what they should be paid

Could be better! Run down. Old existing check in closed. Boxes seen everywhere. Not welcoming! Trashy looking. Room was old looking. Bed not comfortable. Check in guy was pleasant enough through the lead glass window. This was once a nice place to stay years ago.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR PROS: The room on the first floor was pretty decent with a nice office chair and desk area . Hot water in the shower was plentiful. Wifi does work. Air Conditioning was adequate. Cheapest hotel to be found in the area. CONS: I didn't get an email conformation of my reservation. Rooms are not straightened and cleaned until after you check out for the next guest to arrive. Lobby was closed off suggesting Covid protection. No free coffee. None of the employees or guests were seen wearing masks in June of 2022. No cell phone signal for my Verizon network phone. Ice machine was either shut down or broken down but signed out of order during my 5 day stay.
