Standard airport hotel Satisfactory courtyard right next to Laguardia airport. Staff was pleasant. Room was clean. Reasonable for a stay near the airport. Location is actually across the highway from the airport so you need to take shuttle or taxi.

Horrendous I am a Platinum member of Marriott Rewards. I stay in Marriott properties around the world approx. 200 nights per year. This property hands down is one of the worst Marriott properties that I have ever stayed in. Upon check in - it took 3 attempts to get a room. The first attempt the bed was lopsided. At the head of the bed it was low. My feet were higher than my head so I called the front desk to advise. I was told to come back to the front desk for a new room. Excuse me - I just brought my bags to my room and got comfortable when I noticed the bed. Aren’t these people in the hospitality business? I reminded the man at the front desk that he is indeed in the hospitality business and that he needs to bring new keys to ME. Several minutes later he arrived with keys to another room. The keys did not work and the room was not accessible. He left and returned with new keys to the room but they did not work either. He said that he “expected” this and he also brought keys to a 3rd room. Really?! Those keys worked. In the morning, my wife went to the restaurant to order breakfast. The man behind the counter was beyond rude and kept telling my wife to get the buffett when she wanted a fresh omelette. When she insisted on a fresh omelette the big sigh and attitude set in. He did not want to be bothered. That’s not ok - this place automatically puts an 18% gratuity on the check - simply for taking an order and putting it in a bag to take to your room. What?? I don’t think so. This guy with the attitude did not deserve a penny of my money for gratuity as it was not earned or deserved. The front desk was made to take the gratuity off of my bill. Additionally if you don’t pay attention to your receipt and miss that you are being charged an 18% gratuity, there is a space underneath for more gratuity. I’m sure most people that don’t notice this pay more gratuity to somebody that deserves nothing. As a Platinum member I can request a late checkout. Mine was for 2pm. That didn’t stop housekeeping from waking me up and entering my room at 1130am even with the sign on the door and a late checkout was arranged the day prior with the front desk. Unacceptable. When I checked out, I complained about the attitude, bad service and being woken up, etc.. I had the room charges removed but still had to pay for parking. When I tried to leave, my parking ticket would not allow me off of the property. The sign said to see the parking attendant. There was nobody. I drove off the sidewalk to let myself out - but not to leave just yet as I went back in to advise the manager that there is no attendant and the help button was not answered. Pathetic. I will never stay at this property again. My absolute worst Marriott experience hands down.

Disappointing value for the price We stayed here overnight for a 6 am flight. Pros: Convenient shuttle running every 20 mins Probably one of the closest hotels to LaGuardia Cons: Bed was a bit uncomfortable The TV had all the HDMI ports disabled and there was no option to view Netlfix, YouTube, etc. like some of the other Courtyard hotels. Internet was super slow, unacceptable. Was really hard to connect to the wifi from the room. No mention of my elite status during the stay. For the price was definitely disappointing.

For one night, it did the job I stayed here for one night when my flight from JFK was cancelled and I had to take a new one the next day from LaGuardia. For one night the hotel is ok, but I probably wouldn't want to stay here again. The staff are very friendly, however instead of charging back to my company, the hotel charged the stay to my card. I only found out about this as I was checking out and as I had a flight to catch there was nothing that could be done. The room and public areas are quite outdated and could do with some TLC, the location is great in terms of its closeness to the airport, and the hotel provides a shuttle service free of charge. Would I choose to stay here again? Probably not if I could find somewhere else. But for one night, it's ok.

Don't always believe what you read! Let me say had I read the first three reviews for this hotel I might have bypassed it. However, my flight had been cancelled and I was rebooked on an early flight out the next morning so I wanted something close. I saw this hotel from the road when I drove in so I knew it was close. Twenty minutes after booking it through my company system, Concur, I was at the hotel. I had no problems checking in. They had my reservation and a room ready before 3 pm. My room was clean, nice. Everything worked. There was no view but I wasn't there for a view. I was close to the airport but didn't really notice the noise. The bed was super comfortable but I only slept 4 hours so I couldn't take advantage of it. I was on a vegetarian diet and they had a huge garden salad that was perfect. A little pricey but it was big. The hotel staff were all cordial and professional each time I encountered one to ask a question. Also they have a 24hr shuttle service to the airport so I didn't have to worry about how I was going to get to there the next morning. Nope no complaints from me at this hotel.
