Avoid at all cost Terrible terrible. Starting with a reception boxed in with security glass and a very unfriendly receptionist. The "lobby" was completely deserted and dirty (See picture.) The whole place smelled of dirt and old cooking fumes. (But there is no restaurant in the hotel.) The room was full of scuff marks and was very worn. The bed light was broken, and the wires could be touched without being careful. Something was living in the water tank of the coffee maker. (See picture.) The hair dryer did not work, and the rod supposedly holding up the shower curtain almost fell down. When I turned on the light in the middle of the night, a bunch of small cockroaches scurried away from the desk. The area is very dilapidated. What I think looks like drug dealers and addicts hanging around on every street corner. Many stores boxed up. Just terrible. I cannot understand how a brand like Ramada can allow a franchise holder to run this hotel the way it is run.

Maybe after the renovation Unfortunatel last minute emergency trip to New York City during United Nations General Assembly week. One of the only hotels in the area that wasn't upwards of $500 percnight. Old and outdated. Slow elevator. CHEAP! Undergoing renovations while I was there. Loud and dirty. Smelled like cigarette smoke throughout the property. Pretty sure this is some people's residence.

Horrible Hotel - Needs to be shut down. I have always had great experiences staying at Ramada hotels and have come to rely on this brand for a quality stay whenever I travel. However, my recent two-night stay at the Ramada Wyndham in East Orange, New Jersey, was a significant exception and left me extremely disappointed. Upon arrival, I was surprised to see that the reservation desk was encased in plexiglass, along with the "Snack Mart," which also had a plexiglass barrier with an opening for money exchanges. The lobby itself was bare and unwelcoming, with just one worn sofa and two equally worn chairs. Additionally, despite the website advertising a free breakfast, nothing was provided during my stay. The photo on the website is a total lie. There is NOTHING there, no tables and chairs or any food. NOTHING. The conditions of the property were unacceptable. The lobby and hallways were filled with the strong odor of marijuana, forcing us to place a towel under our room door to block the smell. Our room was also in poor condition: Fritos from a previous guest were left under the nightstand, a wall lamp and air conditioner vent were broken, and the refrigerator was frozen over to the point where its door wouldn’t close, causing water to leak onto the floor. We had to use towels to keep the floor dry. The hallways and elevator were filthy, with trash left unattended for long periods, adding to the overall neglect. Our room did not have a "Do Not Disturb" sign, and we had to request one from the front desk. Additionally, the safe in the room did not function, and when I inquired at the front desk, I was informed that the safes were no longer operational and would not be replaced. I was deeply disappointed by the state of this hotel and, had I been able to find alternative accommodations, I would have checked out immediately. This property does not meet the standards I associate with the Ramada brand, and I strongly believe that this hotel either needs to be closed or that Ramada Wyndham should remove its name from the property altogether. It is a disgrace to their otherwise trusted brand. I have photographs documenting these issues, and I plan to send them to their corporate office as well. Avoid this hotel at all costs!!

Please don't go for this hotel Hotel isn't clean, stains on carpet, AC wasn't working. Smoke smell all around the hotel. Breakfast is a togo box with 1-2 snacks. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. I booked it thinking it's usual Ramada chain but don't go fir it.
