Open? I've called several times to confirm my room type with the front desk. I left a message once (no return call) and called a few more times. The phone just rings and rings. Although we have an event scheduled there, I'm considering canceling. This review is an attempt to see if the hotel is still functioning. Thank you

HORRIBLE STAFF DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT, BOOKE WITH THESE PEOPLE! I originally placed my reservation back in September 2024, since then they are under new ownership and let me tell you!!! They’re HORRIBLE horrible hotel staff. We didn’t even stay, I cancelled my reservations, firstly I called to confirm my room because it’s 3 days before check in and never saw an email. The people on the phone could not help me, they finally got me to the front desk, the front desk said we cannot help you. You need to call back and speak to the sales manager tomorrow morning so it’s tomorrow morning I call and I asked for the sales manager, unable to reach a sales manager at this point so I called back again asked to speak to the front desk the front desk says I cannot help you with this. You need to talk to the sales manager. In the meantime I’ve checked my confirmation and my room rate has increased from my original room rate by $100. I’m so confused right now. I asked to speak to the sales manager again and inform the front desk that I am in dire need to get this taken care of before I make the four hour trip there the front desk, then proceeds to tell me that they cannot help me so I asked to speak with somebody else that is going to be able to assist me in order for me to commit to my trip. I asked the gentleman what his name was just for my own recordkeeping and he said Juds? That is who you need to speak to I said no I asked what your name was just so I can write it down. If I need to speak to you again in the future it will be easier for me to contact you that way, just by knowing your name, he says my name? I said yes, your name and this man hung up on me. I will tell you right now. I had no problem calling another hotel at this point and canceling my reservation at the Park hotel because they were rude not helpful and inconsiderate. I do not recommend booking a room here.

The Park Hotel Letdown: Poor Maintenance, Bad Service & Missing Perks I stayed at The Park Hotel at Meadowlands with high expectectations. Unfortunately, due to poor maitenance, subpar customer service, and a lack of amenities they fell short. The condition of the room was not consistent with other business focused hotels. Upon first inspection you could see noticible signs of neglect. There were dusty floors and AC vent. The wallpaper was peeling and the electronic controls for the window shades did not work. The bathroom had a shower with poor water pressure, because of a malfunctioning showerhead feature and the toilet seat was only connected on one side causing it to slide every time you sat down. Overall this is an old room in need of a little TLC. It is worth noting that the room was remodled with a contemporary design within the last decade, but it has not been taken care of. The staff are friendly people, however they are not always accesible. When I called to confirm my reservation, I was asked to "please call back later". I tried calling the front desk during my stay 3 times for a late check out and no one answered. The restaurant on site, serves the worst food I have ever had. I had to find the waiter who was hiding in the back. After he took my order he hid in the back again. He never came back to check on me, I ate less than half of my meal and he did not ask why, just gave me my check. He was never rude, just lacking. This hotel was a Hilton until a few months ago. Under Hilton it had addtional amenities including free breakfast and a shuttle. While I am not a fan of continental breakfast and do not care about that. The location of this hotel is close to the American Dream mall, Metlife Stadium, and a 15 minute drive to the Secaucus train station. If you are not driving to this hotel a shuttle is a huge advantage. Since there is no longer a shuttle offered by this hotel a Lyft ride to the American Dream mall is $15-20 and a ride to the Secaucus train station is $30. If you choose to stay at this hotel either include the cost of renting a car or the cost of taking a Lyft to your stay. Other nearby hotels offer a shuttle to these nearby attractions. This hotel advertises free wifi. They provide you a password for the wifi. I and everyone else I encountered were able to succesfully enter the password for the wifi, but after being succesfully signed in got a notification that the wifi had "No Internet". Make sure you have the ability to connect with a mobile hotspot. The one bright spot of this hotel is the full service Starbucks. There is plenty of seating with outlets to charge your laptop and phone. The chargers for your phone are important, because once again you need to use a mobile hotspot. There are TVs as well if you just want to hang. Considering the poor maitenance of the property, the lack of amenities (especially a shuttle), and the inconsistent customer service I could not recomend this hotel as is. My ranking system scored this hotel 1.8 and I rounded up to 2 stars. If new ownership took over and made an investment to improve its current short comings it has the potential to be a great hotel. It truly is unfortunate.

No longer Hilton owned I made reservations here in November 2024 for a concert in July 2025- just found out Hilton no longer owns this hotel- but was assured our preexisting reservation will be honored. I called to confirm- EXTREMELY rude employee and my reservation is incorrect. I will be cancelling and making a new reservation elsewhere.
