Just Pass Paid almost $500 for 3 nights for a river view king room for this hotel. Was in town for a getaway and chose this place as it faced the arch. The bad experience started when I walked in, no welcome, all 4 ladies at the desk were involved in a loud inappropriate conversation with another lady, clearly a friend while I just stood waiting. I went over to one who said her computer was not working and none of the other ones appeared interested in helping, eventually got served, no personality or pleasantries exchanged. These girls are the epitome of not giving a crap about their jobs, hardly what you expect for a check in. Given a room on 5th floor, you open the door and get an initial wow from the arch view, then you start noticing the rest of the room. Carpet is filthy and stained. Furniture is majorly scuffed and wobbly, TV is ridiculous tiny, bathroom has cracked and broken fittings, all light fittings are broken and wobbly. No USB plugs in a hotel in 2024? Come on people. Next morning we were off sightseeing, as we were leaving housekeeping was entering our room to start servicing it. We came back at 630pm only to enter room that had not been finished servicing, sheets stripped, towels gone, etc. called down to front desk that rang forever without being answered so I went down to ask for a solution. They said they could get everything delivered to me to make up my own room if I liked, I just responded with “that’s not happening”, I was offered another room, told would be an river view but upgraded. They gave me 5 minutes to pack up and they would bring me up a new key. Packed up and waited 10 minutes longer for lady to appear, we were “upgraded” to the 6th floor. It was a bit more central which was nice, laminate floors replaced filthy carpet, however it was significantly smaller, poorly designed, wall mounted ancient AC unit blowing directly onto desk which made working difficult, but with 92 degree heat it was needed. Fire sprinkler was broken, shower head was broken, but the worst was the filthy windows, why offer a view, charge more for them, and offer filthy windows? There were dead bugs and spider webs everywhere. It was apparent that nobody had stayed here since it was renovated based on the state of it. This one had blinds instead of curtains which I was excited for cause I love a blackout room, however guess it wasn’t tested at night or they just don’t care which I’m assuming is the case because it was poorly fitted to the wall, didn’t actually fit the window and the amount of light it let in was ridiculous. Next morning I mentioned the dead bugs and cobwebs to the front desk as we were out for the day only to return at 9pm to discover the room not even serviced at all. First bed was ok, only had 2 pillows though, 2nd bed since we moved was very firm, but had 4 pillows. Also had 1 robe in wardrobe? Hotel does not offer breakfast, no restaurant on site either. Right next door is the casino which I was keen to check out, surprised there was no buffet, but I’m from Vegas so am used to all casinos having one. Their only sit down restaurant is only open for dinner, the noodle place was closed every visit, leaving the chicken & waffle place and the Coffee place that only had stale breakfast pastries that clearly were not fresh. There is nothing this side of the bridge, it’s an undesirable area that has so much potential for development.

No coffee for you! It's 8:01am can't you read? This place is terrible. Just don't. I did at the last minute for a Cardinals game and never again. This place was probably alright 15 years ago. But you can tell the staff doesn't care & the property shows. We had to change rooms because the air didn't work. Guess what? The same in the 2nd room, but after simply removing the clogged filters it blew fine. Everything was filthy. Carpets were beyond stained. And don't expect even a continental breakfast. There's nothing. They have a whole "garden room" for breakfast but nothing. And the coffee is only available 2 to 4 hours depending on the day. LOL How ridiculous is that? They expect a person to then go next door to their casino to purchase a 12 oz cup of coffee and breakfast sandwich. Ummm no. That's not how you treat hotel guests. You cut me off, I cut you off from my wallet. This place appears to be ran by complete idiots.

Enjoyed Our Stay We stayed here one night on our recent road trip and were quite happy with our spacious room. We had a “casino view” room which gave us a large, sweeping view of the casino building and parking lot. There was an option for a “river view room” (with views of the city) but we didn’t expect to spend much time in the room to make it worthwhile. Where we did spend a lot of time was the pool, a nice, warm, indoor pool which was perfect for the rainy day we had. As for the staff, those we dealt with were very nice. The hotel’s location was a mixed bag. While there was very easy access to the downtown by driving, or walking to the adjacent Metrorail station, there was nowhere to eat in the immediate vicinity. Yes there is a small food court in the casino, but most of the options were closed due to “lack of staff”, and it was so loud we couldn’t talk to one another. We opted to drive downtown where there were many other options. Bottom line, we were happy with our short stay and would gladly come back.

Unhappy guest The room was okay but bathroom tub was so high to step in.Looked like the shower head was missing.Like a pipe sticking out the wall. For it to be a casino hotel it could be better. Not to mention their food court workers shut down before the 10pm closing time.Vending machine takes dollars and give change which it won't take.Needless to say stop before you get to this casino hotel if you want to eat cause if your not there before 9:40pm good luck finding food to eat. We ended up going to bed hungry. Also never used a hotel that you can't use to different credit cards.I told the young man he just didn't know how to do that transaction.

Great way to lose money in the RV park! They will send you several email confirmations when you check in to the RV park for one night, but not a single thing about their rules, like surprise check out is 11AM, not 12AM like other RV parks. We left at 11:48AM (yep), even called that we are leaving. There was no response but we were billed for two days, not one. The place is already expensive. Also we have visited casinos for fun over the last 30 years. The customers there are some of the meanest I have seen, the opposite of our experiences those last 30 years. One guy gave us the finger parking his car in their ‘member lot’. Another customer yelled at me at the black jack table over my betting strategy, all at the same time I watch a woman just drain out over $1000 in continuous losses. This is after 30 years of fun from Vegas to Windsor. The whole experience was just terrible.
