Negative pool experienc We came to enjoy time with our kids using the water amenities. I called before we came and asked if there was any issues with kids in the hot tub. They said no of course not. When we came one of the workers planted their chair right beside the tub and was basically carding everyone in there pointing to a sign that said you must be over 16 to use it. He made it his mission to make sure not one toe got in there if anyone that might be under 16. I understand the rule but the enforcement was over the top. It made me uncomfortable to have someone with a chair there watching everyone in the hot tub. Icouldn’t use it because my kids wanted to come over and talk and he wouldn’t even let them put their feet in since they were cold from the pool. I don’t need to be monitored when using a hot tub. The rules are posted. You don’t need to have a policeman there. I wouldn’t come back to the resort just for this reason.

Enjoyed our stay We booked our vacation late for the Poconos, maybe February or so, so we didn't have a lot of choices. I chose this despite some of the horrible reviews because there were still enough positive ones. I give it 3 stars, as it was unexceptional but nowhere near the disaster that some other reviewers apparently experienced. The rooms are a decent size. The furnishings are ordinary but comfortable. If you want modern this won't be it, but it's a place to crash so I didn't care too much about it. The unit was clean, no bugs in sight. The appliances looked old, but all worked. The washer/dryer stack looked newer and worked well. A nice feature is the screened-in patio, which is even screened from below, so no critters get in. We had one day of heavy rain, and it was nice to sit out there. The location is excellent, close to the highways, restaurants, shopping and activities. We made some use of the rec rooms, a good distraction when you're on the property. There's an indoor basketball court that's also used for volleyball. We only used the pool once. Not sure why, some days were scorching hot, but we traveled with grandkids and did whatever they wanted. There's no snack bar/coffee shop kind of place for a quick bite. There's a truck by the pool that sells bbq-type food at reasonable prices. Parking wasn't a problem. Other reviewers complained about it, maybe they were in other sections. We were in Ridge Top. Housekeeping was responsive when we needed more sundries, like detergent, etc.

Shawnee Fairway Quick get away. Quick getaway to the Shawnee and spend some time with the Grand kids. Good value for a Resort that is a work in progress. Wyndham is gradually working to make repairs to units however, they are not there.

Love shawnee village -ridge top Beautiful two story condo like place! Looks newly renovated. We stayed at ridge top. It has a campground feeling -but super comfortable condo. Clean, comfortable and spacious. Very easy - low pressure check in. I am hard to impress - but I was very impressed. Might be one of our favorite Wyndham resorts. Will definitely be back!

The staff is amazing, with special praise t0 the fr0nt desk and back 0ffice pers0nell- Mariah, Alexa, J0n , Vict0r , Brand0n, Sierra, Kirk F, Judy, and Mr. Greg H0ffman, General Manager, wh0 is d0ing an excellent j0b in managing his great staff, and the w0nderful res0rt. The activities staff is w0nderful als0 and d0 an excellent j0b.
