On the fly nomad Last minute booking, traveling on the fly. Glad we did. Had some nice moonlight when we sat on a bench next to the lake and tiki bar. I would return in the future. Parking can be difficult. Tawas is a pretty nice community. We didn't get a chance to try the food.

Excellent weekend away Walking into the upstairs room for the first, my reaction was wow this is big, the bed was big the bathroom was big!! Our view outside was amazing, the bed was soft, the hot water persurre was great, the hot tub was amazing!! And the staff members did their job great!! I give this 5 stars!!

Disappointed Wi-Fi not working. Sauna was not working. Vending machine was broken. No housekeeping during our stay. Have to get your own replacement towels from the front desk. It does have a pool and hot tub. It is on the beach, which is cool. The restaurant and bar are nice to have in the motel. There are no elevators. Restaurant food was decent. The room decor was super old. Pillows were terrible. I was hoping for much better unfortunately.

Very poor quality The pool and the hot tub were very filthy with dirt. Our bed had a very bad stain on it and they put us in another room that was smoked and very heavily and they didn’t return. All of our money only gave us 50 bucks back instead of making it right and return all of our refunds they didn’t do that they don’t care about their customers and I have pictures to prove it.

Goose Poop and no TP We’ve been going to Tawas Bay Resort annually with our family and friends, with 5+ rooms for 15+ years. After this year, we will not be back. It was more expensive with less amenities… right down to no toilet paper or towels, rooms not ready on time, no beach bucks or breakfast, and the beach was a disgrace. The sea birds took over and there was goose poop everywhere! Kids couldn’t play in the sand.. It used to be so well kept up outside even with the sea birds. Used to be Well raked and freshened up every morning and little evidence that they are even around. We appreciate the hard working staff… but such a shame… it was such a great time while it lasted.
