The new prototype for economy business lodging. The new standard in economy business lodging. I had stayed at this hotel a few years ago, and when I arrived this time I didn’t recognize the place. I mean, it was literally unrecognizable! Turns out they had torn it down and rebuilt it as the prototype of the new national model for the Holiday Inn Express chain. This is the toughest market segment: you have to be comfortable enough to satisfy the experienced business traveler, but still keep the price competitive. Anyone can be amazing at $300/night. It takes a great deal of planning and execution to be amazing at $115/night. It has the usual clean, non-smoking rooms, with the usual amenities: mini-fridge, coffee maker, TV, etc. But the similarities end there. The ambient lighting system is relaxing and much less harsh than the usual overhead fluorescent systems. The carpet is a tad thicker; the sheets, blankets, pillows and towels a couple of levels higher in quality than one expects. The power outlets have been redesigned to add USB charging ports for numerous devices, and the rooms are much more soundproofed than usual for this price point. They’ve done away with the usual extra table, so there’s now room to turn the luggage trolley around inside the room. Even the lobby has been redesigned to be more open and inviting, with the elevators, breakfast buffet and swimming pool easy to find. The staff was friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable, had all the supplies needed and my questions were answered. This is now my go to place in Easton for business travel. Highly recommended.

Traveling for work/potential relocation I know there is some I trust about reviews, but I am a real person. I don’t normally travel for business but suddenly at was at this holiday inn twice in three weeks. Florence, at the front desk is fantastic I can’t even say enough. I didn’t catch the front desk/maintenance man’s name but he was so helpful too. The breakfast is so good, the rooms are clean and there are absolutely no issues with comfort or security. I normally don’t write reviews but I am so impressed with this location!

It’s been 5 years! The last time I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express was near the Poconos area in Pennsylvania. It was not pleasing at all. The hotel itself was very old and the rooms were not updated. I promised myself, that would be the last time I stay at an IHG hotel. Fast forward to 2022. I booked a stay at the Holiday Inn Express-Easton, Maryland because it was close to a family event I was attending. I was able to locate a Holiday Inn Express in Cambridge, MD but the reviews were not good. Holiday Inn Express-Easton you have out done yourself. Check in-pleasant staff Decent parking Located on a Main Street with plenty of stores and restaurants Beautiful hotel lobby Breakfast, whirlpool, pool Room-spacious, updated furniture, clean, flat screen, Wi-Fi, plenty of space for bags and suitcases Bathroom-clean, great water pressure, very small but not impossible to use, bathroom sink is outside of the bathroom (so annoying because if someone is sleep you wake them up washing your hands) I have very sensitive skin-the only soap I use is DOVE. I was soooo pleased to see DOVE products in our room (body lotion, hand soap, bar soap, shampoo, conditioner—-all DOVE!!!!! YES!!!! We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning to this the Holiday Inn Express-Easton, MD

Clean, friendly, great stay! We stayed at this hotel for a short weekend trip. Everything was great! The lobby area is clean and bright. Our rooms were larger than we expected and well-maintained. I liked the addition of Dove toiletries. The free breakfast was better than at other hotels I've been to lately, with lots of good choices. All in all, we had a nice stay and would come again!

Holiday Inn Express (Easton) - clean, friendly staff, overpriced We chose to stay 12 miles outside downtown St Michaels to save a bit on hotel accommodations, but $280 per night is outrageous. Being retired Seniors we will stay mid-week next time to avoid highest weekend prices. Notwithstanding the price, Flo greeted us warmly at the reception desk and the staff overall was very helpful during our stay. The breakfast buffet was decent and convenient. I enjoyed the hot tub in the inside pool area. Our room was clean, spacious and had all the extras such as a coffee pot, safe, hair dryer, small frig and microwave. If you want convenient ice, request a room on the first or third floor.
