Dated, dirty, load, there aren’t enough words for horrible I had to fly in on a whim for a funeral I arrived exhausted and went down the dirty dated hall to my over priced dated room only to find that it sounded like a construction crew was drilling in the walls next door. I asked for another room and was reassigned to a room on the bottom floor (evidently they are remodeling and staying open and still charging premium rates.). I could still hear all the very load sounds in this new room. Evidently the entire hotel is shaking from the noise. Exhausted and defeated I opted to just stay in the second room. Went to bath and the light was nonstop flickering in the bathroom and never stopped. When I finished my strobe light bath I walked barefoot on the floor only to find the entire floor was damp. After getting very little sleep ( walls are paper thin and guest simply being guest doors closing etc kept me up.) I went to breakfast where there wasn’t much to pick from and the food was mostly empty. Overall I would rather sleep in a tent. All for the rock bottom price of 182.00 a night after taxes and fees.

Comfortable stay Check in was smooth and friendly. Hotel is in a suburban area outside Greensboro in an area with gas stations, restaurants and shops. Bed was very comfortable. Pool looked nice but we didn't stay long enough to try it. We walked to the Mexican restaurant next door for dinner and drinks.

Solid Choice in Eden I just completed five nights at the Hampton Inn. All staff I met were friendly, especially the young woman who checked me in after a long day of travel. It is an older property, showing some age, but well maintained. Everything in our room worked. The beds were comfortable. Rooms have a small refrigerator and a microwave. The structure is solid and had no noise intrusion from other guests or the highway. The parking lot is very tight on busy nights. My car had the paint chipped one night. Some of the parking lot is taken up by Conex boxes stored on site from a delayed remodeling project. We will stay here again, the next time we are in Eden.

The cleanest room in which I've stayed in a long, long time!!!! SHOCKINGLY CLEAN, the whole facility and especially the grounds were as worn-out as I have ever encountered at ANY hotel property since right before the Circus-Circus motel section was torn down in Las Vegas. The STAFF did GREAT, but they would probably actually enjoy their jobs if they weren't forced to mitigate so many maintenance issues. Seems a to me the reversing of the decision to remodel this hotel was a non-sequitur - unless the plan is to build a new one very close nearby.

Southern Hospitality at its BEST From the time I arrived to the time I checked out, the staff was friendly and attentive. Top notch customer service and super clean rooms. My family and I will definitely stay at this location, again.
