Highly recommend! This is my happy place! We’ve come every year for at least 10 years and always enjoyed the stay no matter the weather. Great views of Edgartown Harbor, friendly & helpful staff, comfortable room/beds, perfect location for easy walk to eateries & shops, beautifully manicured lawn/garden, clean and well-maintained common areas. We like to travel & experience different places but Harborside Inn on the Vineyard is an annual “must-do”.

Our favorite vacation spot! The Harborside Inn is a perfect downtown Edgartown location. Minutes to restaurants, bars and beach. Family oriented, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful pool and the best view on the island! Cannot recommend this place enough!

Wonderful stay We stayed at the Harborside Inn in April 2021. It was school vacation for my boys and we were looking to get out of the house for a few days. We drove down from Maine on a Sunday and checked into the Garden View Suite which was perfect for us. The room was clean, nicely decorated and the layout worked well. My husband and I loved having the privacy of our own bedroom and entrance to the bathroom. Our kids loved having the tv to themselves in the other room at night. We enjoyed sitting outside to have our coffee in the morning in the nice patio area outside our door. My two son’s were thrilled that the heated pool opened for the season the weekend we arrived. The pool area is lovely with a beautiful view, nice chairs & umbrellas. The staff at HarborSide were incredible- I would say the nicest and most accommodating I’ve ever encountered. Specifically, Celine made sure our visit was perfect. This was a much needed three day getaway for us. It was so nice to relax in comfort and be welcomed by such an amazing staff. We can’t wait to go back.

Awesome place to vacation even during pandemic. This was my first time visiting the Vineyards, and I enjoyed myself. I would definitely visit again during the peak time when more shops and places are open, There was still plenty to do and see. Harborside Inn was a very clean hotel, and the staff was very accommodating . The manager Celine, and the security man (forgot his name) was very friendly and made sure we enjoyed our stay and even gave suggestions on places to visit. Although, the hotel is located in a great part of town close to shops and restaurants it's still great to have a car while on the island, If you do have a vehicle the only down side with staying at this hotel is that the park lot is detached and it's approximately a 4 minute walk each way but it's no charge. My suggestion would be to offer valet, I can't image what they do for elderly guest. We drove to a lot of the different parts of the island everything is in close proximity. I had a great time renting bikes (Wheel Happy) , Island Alpaca (great for kids or adults), Martha Vineyard Museum, The Cliffs/Lighthouse, Circuit Ave shops Ben & Bills ice cream is amazing & C'est La Vie shop, arcade, Inkwell Beach, Cottages, Oceanview & Lookout restaurants had great seafood.

The Great 2021 Get Away! After a stressful reopening of school. retirements, and having do cover three offices -sometimes 16 hours a day. Harborside Inn was the perfect medicine for a tired Administrator. Excellent staff, clean facility and very peaceful. I would love to return during the peak of the season.
