Clean, comfortable, economical We usually stay at the Best Western. I'm getting the impression they pay for their reviews because they always come up at the top of google ratings for Edinburg. But the reality is, I came back to the Comfort Inn after not staying here for years and it's MUCH cleaner and cozier and less expensive than the Best Western! We enjoyed the stay here more, as well as the fact that it's more a hotel than a motel. We will stay here from now on!

Lost my $ due to hotel double booking my room Booked a room with a jacuzzi tub. Upon arrival, I was told it was already booked. I wasn't able to get a refund, reason was that I needed to take the handicap room I was given or move to another property that was in Pharr. Worst part, They lied and said I JUST WALKED OUT! If someone was to just check the reservations for that day, they will see! Employees were nice and courteous though. Property seems good enough. Close to restaurants.

Disappointing Upon entering the room I was hit with a terrrible odor of stale cigarette and mustiness. The AC is old window unit and didn’t cool the room which in 100+degree weather is not good. A bit overpriced for the quality and make you provide $100 deposit. Overall room was ok but probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Outdated dirty The king suite room was old some of the lamp plugs didn’t work, pillow cases were dirty, a huge bug was alive in the toilet, sink does not drain good at all, walls are nasty looking. Definitely a 2 star hotel at best..

Clean room, wonderful breakfast and friendly staff We have found a new place to stay when visiting the Valley! Our initial reservation was for the MainStay Suites hotel which shares the same exact building (guest services check-in desk and the breakfast area as well) with this Comfort Inn. When we arrived, there was no hot water and maintenance was working to resolve this. After a long road trip we were in desperate need of a hot shower and rest. The staff at the front desk, kindly moved our 4 night reservation from MainStay to this Comfort Inn. I’ll be honest, I found this room to be much more nicer, updated and more spacious compared to the first room that we were initially assigned to at MainStay. Breakfast was wonderful! The eggs were accompanied with something different (ham, sausage, potatoes, bacon) each morning that we were there. Refried beans, tortillas and salsa were offered daily. Along with boiled eggs, fresh fruit, oatmeal and a variety of danishes etc. I looked forward to the coffee and the tasty waffles each morning. The waffles were also flavored (red velvet, cinnamon etc) not just your typical buttermilk waffles. We visit the Valley several times a year and we are really looking forward to staying here again on our next visit.
