Abundance of Elegance We arrived and three lovely young people greeted us. One gentleman showed us to our room and another carried our very heavy luggage up 4 flights of stairs. Our room was small but the shower was great. Breakfast was excellent and the service was top notch. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Nice, but totally overpriced We spent one night in the Junior Suite 8/10. The suite was very nicely furnished and extremely clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet and wanting to explore the city on foot. Unfortunately, the price-performance-ratio is really bad. We would have expected much more from a small luxury hotel of the world at a price of 564 pounds sterling per night! The sofa bed was very, very uncomfortable. I had a terrible night. Also no welcome drink or fruit in the room. The pre-booked breakfast didn't even include prosecco or hot food. Nice hotel, but the price is completely out of line :(

Lovely stay at the Nira Caledonia Very nice hotel. We chose a top floor room and it was large. Had a really nice shower, comfy bed and pillows and the sofa bed was great for the two kids. I will say that it is a pretty long hike up to the top up 3 or 4 flights of stairs. You’ll definitively get your steps in and wouldn’t recommend for anyone older or with pushchairs etc. for us it wasn’t a problem. Beautiful location in possibly the nicest part of Edinburgh - so quiet and safe to walk around at night. Highly recommend

Great stay My husband and I stayed in the wee double. The room is small but you have everything you need. The staff was extremely helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

Beautiful Small Hotel Had a lovely stay. Really comfortable bedroom and fabulous bathroom. Room was a little warm, as we were on the top floor, and there were a lot of narrow, steep stairs to ascend. Nice buffet breakfast, and pleasant staff.
