Our favorite new place to stay in Egg Harbor Great location to use as a base for enjoying all that Door County has to offer. Wonderful Front Desk Staff, clean Suite with updated shower, comfortable bed and living area furniture and efficient Housekeeping routine. The kitchenette provided everything we needed for simple meal preparation when we weren't eating out. Enjoyed the spacious indoor pool and hot tub as we visited in late October. The Fitness Center was equipped with enough equipment for a good workout.

Good spot to rest between day trips We recently stayed at Newport Inn and appreciated its central location, which made it easy to explore the area. The balcony was a nice bonus for enjoying some fresh air, but don’t expect a scenic view. While the hotel is comfortable for resting, it’s not the type of place you'd spend a lot of time at during the day. One standout feature was the updated shower—it was a wonderful surprise. The front desk staff were always hospitable and friendly. Overall, Newport Inn is great for a convenient, restful base while you’re out and about.

An ideal place for couples. We chose Newport Resort to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and couldn't have been more pleased. Our room was very well-appointed, and spacious. The resort is in a great location not only because it's within walking distance to Harborview Park and Main Street Market & Shops, but also because you can drive anywhere on the peninsula with reasonable driving time. The staff at Newport Resort is first rate.

Wonderful stay, great staff We enjoyed a quick get away for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We upgraded to a second floor premium suite for a small upcharge. It was great. We had a one bedroom suite, which includes a full kitchen. There is a gas fireplace which is controlled by a timer, and enhanced the atmosphere greatly. There was a round dining room table and a kitchen bar with seating as well. There was ample comfy seating by the fireplace and TV. The shower has been recently renovated and is large with a wonderful showerhead and ample water pressure. The bedroom had a comfy king size bed and TV. Staff was outstanding. They were very welcoming and were helpful with finding restaurants and other places that are open at this time of year. Spoiler alert: while the hotel rates at this time of year are wonderful, unless you are planning to do outdoor activities (which are plentiful), you will find many establishments closed for the season. This is a great hotel for singles, couples, and families, for sure. There is road construction on Hwy 42 going on currently, but the hotel is still easily accessible.

Great resort Wonderful place to stay. Great pool and hot tub area. Good location for traveling to spots in Door County. Easy check-in. Friendly staff. Very clean. Stayed in a 2 bedroom unit, had plenty of room. Even the 1 bedroom units had room. Will definitely look to stay there again.
