Thanks to the staff for being great We had a great overnight stay. Ellie, Harris and the staff did such a fantastic job of looking after us and really went over and above to make our time special. If your looking to come for dinner, I would highly recommend the steak restaurant, food was very good value.

Nice Place EXCEPT for the bar food Convenient to Heathrow and rooms are nice. Nice gardens. Only issue we had was the bar food was plain bad. We on a whim tried their loaded Nachos (likely a daring decision yes) and we should not have as they did not resemble nachos. Caesar salad came lightly dressed and when we asked for more dressing they brought a different dressing and insisted it was Caesar dressing but it was yellow and not Caesar dressing. Weird. Fish in the Fish and Chips pretty small and tasteless which is inexcusable for a three star in UK in my experience. This place has a Michelin star restaurant on site and the bar food is this bad? Drinks were good though. Also keep in mind for those with mobility issues you may have stairs and longer walks to rooms as it is a remodeled older building.

Very unpleasant We have just been to Great Fosters for our Wedding Anniversary lunch. It was not a good experience. We remember the hotel when it was in previous ownership. When we tried to book earlier in the day the receptionist on the phone was very unpleasant. She said it was a no booking required just a walk in. We told her we wanted to sit by the moat and she didn’t tell us that we couldn’t. We still decided to go but: 1. We wanted to sit outside but couldn’t sit by the moat as this was for afternoon tea (12-3pm). We sat on the terrace behind a hedge that was so high we couldn’t see anything of the beautiful gardens. 2. Only given 1 menu, there was 2 of us. 3. No water offered. 4. Prosecco flat. I had to take it back and get a fresh one. 5. Starter and main came together. 6. No one checked if everything was ok and I had to go to the bar again to ask for another drink. I then said do not put the service charge on our bill. They didn’t put it on the bill and also gave me a complimentary Prosecco. The young lady in charge of the bar was very helpful. 7. Asked a young man for the bill and he said “wait a moment” and walked off and didn’t do anything about the bill. Great Fosters service use to be 5* unfortunately I think today this was only 2*. On a positive note the food was very good.

Great Fosters - great! We have just spent six wonderful nights at Great Fosters. We were made very welcome from the moment we arrived. Our air conditioned suite was lovely with a very comfortable bed and the whole room was well looked after and kept immaculately clean. The food and service in both the Estate grill and the Michelin starred Tudor Pass was excellent and all the staff were very helpful and attentive. The lovely warm outside swimming pool with its superb facilities was a joy to use and the surrounding gardens are so well maintained and quite beautiful. We will certainly be returning.
