Excellent Customer Service My review is for a gentleman, Joe who works in the security department. I cannot thank him enough for is genuine concern for me! We are from California visiting New York, my son lives in upstate NY. He stayed with us while checking out the Big _! It came time for him to leave! Stirred with emotions I started to cry, excused myself from the restaurant and went to the front of hotel. With tears running down my face, Joe asked me with a sincere voice, is there any I can help you with! I explained, he began to ask me many questions about where he lives, where are we from... I finally realized what he was doing, giving me a chance to breathe and compose myself. I did have a moment of many tears when my son left but I really appreciate this gentleman concern for me! Thank you Joe!!!!! Unfortunately, we live in times where people have no compassion and have the attitude of not my problem. He is a outstanding example of customer service for your hotel!

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible I stayed here two years ago and gave five stars. Therefore I had no problem deciding to stay again the night before my flight from EWR. First, let me say the shuttle drivers are the best thing this hotel has going for it. They are personable and kind. They deserve praise and thanks. When I think of Crowne Plaza the name brings visions of a luxury hotel, as several Crowne Plaza hotels I have stayed at. However, this is just your run of the mill regular hotel, nothing special about it. You walk into the room and it could be a hotel room anywhere. Again, the best thing about this place are the shuttle drivers. The front deskis very nice. The young lady who checked me in had such a thick accent I had a hard time understanding her. when she started to give me a bag with bottled water I said, no thank you, as I had plenty of water with me, She did not understand me and still provided the water. I took it and left it in the room, hopefully the housekeeper kept them. The bed is very comfortable, which I appreciate. There could be a softer pillow as a choice. My biggest complaint, as I understood from the front desk many others made the same complaint, was the sports bar nearby. Now this isn't the responsibility of the hotel, I understand that, but it would be a nice to notify customers. Their music, if you can call it that, went on until 3:00 in the morning! It was so loud my noise canceling ear phones did not work, and the room literally vibrated. If I had known, I would have cancelled and gone to another hotel. And now I get home and check my credit card and I was overcharged. Now I have to get that resolved.

Fantastic experience during my 1 day stay at this airport hotel Stayed here with family for 1 night since I had an early morning flight from EWR. Was pleasantly surprised by the experience at this place although the reviews were modest at the best. The ladies at the check in were very thorough and helpful. Answered all our queries patiently and clearly. The room was very clean. Mattress comfortable. Had a coffee maker and complimentary bottles of water provided. They have free shuttle to EWR every 30 min, 24 hrs a day. The shuttle driver too was quite helpful. Voluntarily helped load our luggage in and out of the shuttle; a first time experience in the 2 weeks I had spent in New York this time around.

Good location with clean rooms and good service Good location! Bus stops are easy to go Newyork. They have shuttle bus at P4, every 30 minutes they pick up at airport and sending customers to airport. The staff here are all very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the downstairs convenient store is super good, the food there is delicious and price was reasonable! Only one thing remember is DO NOT USE Vending machine buy water, the machine told you price was $2.10. But once you swipe credit card, they charge you $10.00. I’ve talked to front desk, they put a note, not too sure if they contact the vendor. Hopefully they can sort this problem avoid their name under mud. The night shift manager Jeff S. was very helpful helping everyone to solve the problem. Absolutely we will stay here next time.
