Need handicap accessible spa The Aspira spa is lovely, pricey but that’s to be expected. What I didn’t expect is that it would not be handicapped accessible. Heavy doors, no safety bars or seat in large showers which could easily accommodate them. The benches in locker rooms are very low and difficult for elderly and handicapped. The population is getting older and needs a bit of help!

Great resort experience The condo units are owned and rented through Osthoff. Nice spacious unit. Our unit was 2 floors with two bathrooms and included a small kitchen. The spa was wonderful and the food in the onsite restaurant was excellent! One of the best steaks I’ve had.

Broken AC management didn’t respond Place was nice and great for walking around town. However the AC was not working in our room. Strange we would need it in October but it was unseasonably warm. They sent someone to fix it but it went out again in middle of night. Woke up and it was 76 in room, could not sleep. Wrote to them in their text msg they sent asking for feedback but they never responded. Would like to give higher review but 4 hours of sleep at the price we paid I just can’t.

Worth the trip. Went to the Osthoff resort this past weekend 11/1/24 to 11/3/24. I was a little concerned because all the positive reviews I read were several years old. There was no reason for concern this resort is lovely. The staff was friendly, the grounds were beautiful, and we had a great time. I rented a lakeview unit, and yes, I did have a lakeview, but I was expecting it to be a little closer to the lake so don't be surprised if your unit is in the center of the resort and not on the end closer to the lake. I can't blame anyone for my assumption. The room was nicely appointed we had a kitchen, living room and a private bedroom very cozy for a couple. The Balcony was nice and despite it being November we actually spent a lot of time on the balcony because the view was just so wonderful. The room decor could be updated a little, but it was very clean and comfortable. The Elk room was the nightly gathering place for all the guests there was live music each night, a nice touch and the bartender Chuck was great. If you are just looking for a quick escape, I would highly recommend this resort. It is a little under 3 hours away from Chicago and worth the trip.

Took my brother to see Puddles Pity Party and it was amazing! Very luxurious rooms with great layouts. I love the loft room! Amazing shows as well. We went to see Puddles Pity Party. It was our second time seeing him but we had no idea what to expect from the Osthoff. We were both blown away by the kind community and beautiful location. Will be visiting again!
