Be aware Be aware that this is a two building hotel. The second building is across the street and there is no elevator. The main building has a casino. The person at the front desk was very friendly though and we were able to cancel since the only room available was across the street and it was not accessible for us.

Should have been so simple 4/10 due to cost and messed up registration system. Also, due to management changes in suppliers etc there is no longer a free breakfast despite advertising it as free. Anyway, if you do stay at the Ramada, ask to be put across the street in the anex. No smoke from the casino etc. Room was reasonably clean and comfortable. Optionally, do look up Bristlecone motel instead and be aware that you better reserve a spot there as it is a popular hotel.

Treat us like family! We always stay here when we come to Ely. The staff are all so nice and helpful, the room is very clean, and the new restaurant, while a bit pricy, is absomlutely delicious!

Run far from Ely Ramada..not worth it.. After driving 700 miles in one day, I paid, and booked our room online for a decent price, after basing it on photos of the hotel, with a good breakfast free the next morning. When checking in, we were told matter of factly that the breakfast would be a Jimmy dean breakfast sandwich, juice, and yogurt in a bag - in a cold bag after turning keys into desk clerk. Unless I’m mistaken, microwaves don’t count as luggage on a trip to heat up a fast food quality breakfast. Ramada as a whole used to be a decent place. Ely, Nevada was anything but..paying and booking online means you get sent across the street to a two story annex, with no elevator, so word of warning, stay far from here if you cant climb 16 stairs, and have breathing issues. Or are a midget because the sink and tub and toilet cater to very short people. POOR representation of this place, and the many comments on Trip Advisor are pretty accurate from other travelers about the quality and descriptions. Will NOT recommend to anyone nor call Ely Ramadas integrity sound.

A stay to remember I guess the property was having a bad hair day. I travel a great deal and am a pretty fair judge of things. Let me start from the beginning. On arrival, I was confused by the fact that I could not find the front desk. After a little wandering, I found it 30-40 feet from the front door, down a poorly lit hall with slot machines on one side. A member of the staff checked me in and told me that I was in an annex across the way. And that no breakfast was served in the morning, but they would provide a Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich and a free bottle of water. I went to my room, opened the door and was met by a chair jammed into the desk. When I went to hang up my clothes, I found a heavy duty extension cord passing through a wall, into and out of my room. When I got ready for bed, I found that the dead bolt in the door was misaligned and VERY hard to close. When I got into bed, I found the pillows had the consistency of year-old marshmallows. I solved that by pulling the "pillow" out and stuffing the case with my parka. On the positive side, the room was clean and there was a safety bar in the shower. Oh, did I mention that the tv did not work?
