Terrific place! Beautiful room, excellent breakfast unique and different each morning. The host Karen is very friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze. They have their own cute little pub/restaurant which is both inside as well as outside on a nice patio! Terrific stay!!

Great weekend getaway from the city Karen made us feel right at home with a kind and welcoming vibe the moment we walked in. It was calm and cozy with with wonderful live music throughout the weekend. The wine bar had a great selection including some tasty food. This was a perfect weekend getaway.

Romantic anniversary getaway at the Historic Smithton Inn! We spent a few days at this beautiful historic inn for our 40th anniversary in scenic Lancaster County. It was fantastic! The furniture and beds were very comfortable, which is often not the case at “historic” locations. Breakfasts were delicious and varied. There was entertainment in the wine tasting room in the evening. The new owner is very pleasant and was accommodating to our needs. We would definitely return to this beautiful and comfortable inn! Highly recommend.

Great stay! Karen is a lovely host and her breakfasts were delicious. We stayed in the Gables which is the largest room in the Inn, with a full size kitchen and living room. The bed was very comfortable and shower was fantastic with great water pressure. We enjoyed the live music in the wine bar on Friday and Saturday evening. The only downside was the loud traffic well past midnight on Friday night. By Saturday the noise was negligible. It was a very enjoyable weekend and look forward to a return visit.

Very nice My wife and I just recently spent a night at the Smithton Inn in the Crimson Dove suite. Overall very nice. I loved the historic feel of this place. Overall our room was comfortable. The bed was very nice. The furniture in the room is dated and worn but clean. The bathroom area was clean and tidy. My only complaint comes when we tried to use the Jacuzzi in the room. After filling it and turning on the water Jets black particles started to come out of the nozzles. That indicates mold. The tub has not been properly cleaned and sanitized. So we skipped using it. As for the new owner Karen she is very friendly and accommodating.
