Poor experience The airport shuttle didn't arrive. The front desk staff was not friendly. The room lights were glaring. There was no soap in bathroom nor enough coffee packets. There is no ice machines nor bar nor restaurant. American Airlines booked our room because our connecting flight was delayed. We certainly would have never chosen this hotel.

From bad to worse This is truly the bottom of the barrel. I got delayed overnight because American Airlines can’t seem to get a flight in on time so to compensate they book a room for you at the hotel of their choice. You call for the shuttle and expect to wait for 45 minutes. I did and that was after two phone calls. Finally arrived to this nasty place. At least the second room they gave me has AC. It stinks of cigarettes, smoke, and my skin is just crawling!

Wyndham Hotels and American Airlines can and should do better. This is the hotel used by American Airlines if you need a voucher because they botched the plane connection. It says Wyndham hotel but it is without question one of the worst name brand hotels we have ever stayed in. The only redeeming thing was the kindness of the shuttle bus driver. Rooms were filthy and in poor condition. Just made a bad situation worse. And no way to avoid unless you want to fork out cash to stay somewhere else. Yuck.

Better off Sleeping in the Airport : ( We arrived after 11 pm and were placed there by American Airlines after a 6 hour delay and missing our flight to Ireland - no luggage. First room filthy, no air and spiders around the window. Second room - filthier but had air. We were tired so we stayed. TV didn’t work, cupboard door falling off, curtain hanging down, one washcloth for a family of 3, had shampoo & conditioner but no soap - Not even to wash hands. The icing on the cake was when housekeeping knocked on the door at 8:44 am after an uncomfortable, interrupted night when checkout was noon.

Horrible I made reservation with booking .com confirmation 4608841611 Upon arriving to the Wyndham Garden Philadelphia Airport I gave the front desk agent Kira my ID then showed her my card in hand and stated I would be paying with the card in hand and not the card I placed reservation with.She then told me to put my card m into the card reader and it stated they would be charging 216.80 for room and 100.00 hold, the card reader said approved on screen and told me to remove my card however Kira stated my bank declined it however I may see a authorization on my card which made no sense if it declined. I then looked at my transactions on my bank app and showed the charge from the hotel for 216.80 which I made that aware to Kira all she said was it’s just authorization. She then told me to enter my card into the card reader again and once again the reader said approved and actually beeped and said remove my card , Kira then said again it didn’t go through and that the hotel didn’t charge me and to call my bank because it’s my card not them and was being very very rude. I asked for a manager she said there wasn’t one, I asked for corporates number she then called a manager on her cellphone who rudely said for me to call my bank cause it’s not the hotel while not even knowing the entire story and he was very rude as I was making comments to him as he was on speaker. I then stepped aside and called my bank on speaker phone The bank told Kira that they never declined the transaction and that the hotel actually authorized 216.80 initially then they refunded it and reversed it back a minute later, then my bank told Kira the 2nd transaction did not decline as well and that this particular transaction did not reverse and charged 216.80. Kira then called the manager Jerry lord back and told him what my bank said , Kira also then stated that she sees the approval on her screen from my fidelity card for 216.80 however her system isn’t allowing her to check me in and didn’t know why. Jerry then told her to just cancel the reservation and refund the 216.80 he didn’t apologize for his employee lying to my or anything no empathy nothing , was the worse customer service ever.Kira then stated she cancelled reservation and that I should receive a refund 3-5days , paper stated something about a cancellation fee charge of over 100.00 and Kira stated I wouldn’t be charged that and would get my 216.80 back in full. She didn’t apologize for the lies she constantly told me, the rude attitude she gave me, she did not have a hear to help attitude nor tone. The entire time I was correct and she tried to silence me and even stated if I disturbed other guest I would be asked to leave, while I’m speaking to my husband in the lobby who’s watching the entire ordeal . This hotel took my money ,lied to me , didn’t apologize , and sent me on my way with a paper. An apology is free , a courtesy to help is free, I am now stranded and have to sleep in my car due to their system glitching. This is unacceptable and I will be filing a BBB complaint , you don’t treat people that way. An to make it worse I asked for a confirmation of the cancellation and that I will be getting my full refund and she actually gave me a reservation confirmation and not a cancellation as I asked for .So basically I paid for a hotel room the front desk confirmed my card approved however their system wouldn’t allow her to check me in however I have to sleep in my car tonight in a parking lot, Why wouldn’t the manager Jerry have the front desk check me in another way and still give me a room since I paid for it. An still I haven’t gotten any proof that I am getting my refund of 216.80 nor a paper saying reservation is cancelled. I’m looking at booking.com and it still shows reservation confirmed not cancelled. What kind of scam is this hotel running ?
