Pricy but sad room The bad: 1. Pricey room and breakfast: we paid average $400/night, it was the same room rate as we paid for at a 4-stars hotel in downtown Denver which breakfast was included. 2. The room definitely need some TLC: it was dark and the light fixtures look really sad; a big portion of the curtains were derailed and we have to use the hotel hanger with clips to temporarily fix it; the bathtub drain was clotted; the sofa was falling apart (Pictures attached), and the bedsheets were so wrinkled that we thought they probably didn’t change the bedsheets. 3. The common area carpet is very filthy, it seems like hasn’t been vacuumed or carpet cleaned for months. The good: 1. Location: this hotel is only a short drive to downtown and 10-15min drive to Rocky Mountain national park. 2. All you can drink Starbucks coffee and sparkling water with flavors to choose from.

Nice amenities Close to main drag with stores and restaurants by a short walk. There are closer places to stay but this is close enough. We ended up driving to the main strip but could walk. Plenty of free parking lots on main strip. Hotel had a lot of amenities such as fire pits with coupon for a s’mores kit per person per stay included. There is a $15/ day charge for amenities. Had indoor pool and hot tub. Pool was nice. Only complaint was they had disco lights on Thursday night which was annoying. Nice game room with old time arcade games for no charge with pool table, ping pong table, basketball goal and foosball. Had workout room but this really needs to be redone. Had old treadmill, bike and couple other things. Few kettlebells and weights. Free weights were lacking. Nothing between 5# and 20#. No free breakfast. Has a restaurant where you can purchase breakfast buffet for $17.99. Does have free Starbucks machine and flavored water machine. Room was comfortable with small mini fridge and 1 chair. Didn’t care for lamps by bed which dangled face down and pillows were not comfortable. Shower made a noise when it was running but bathroom very clean and showers worked well. Provided in room for use was pair of binoculars and a walking stick which we made use of. All in all I really liked the hotel. It was nice coming back each night and having options of things to do.

Super friendly staff and amazing pool The front desk staff, Jeff, and the restaurant waiter, Volkan C, have offered excellent service! They are super nice and kind. Traveling with small children, we appreciate their kindness and attention to details. The swimming pool is also amazing with free pool toys and floaties.

Amazing Little Lodge Amazing hidden gem! We went up to Estes for a concert at the Stanley. Some friends of ours stayed there ( in a suite) and we chose the Ridgeline 1. Because it is economical and 2. It included breakfast. Let me just say that our room was WAYYY nicer and 1/4 of the price. The hotel is clean, the people are friendly, and they offer so many unexpected extras such as s'mores kits, a 24 game room (think pool tables, ping pong and Pac Man). We stayed in the poolside room and what a cool concept/design. Our room opened up to a balcony that overlooked the indoor pool. I'm 45 and I was impressed _. While this trip was with friends, I would 100% come back and stay here with my teenagers. It's perfect for families, business, traveling with friends, all of it. Highly recommend!!!

40th Birthday trip for my wife - kudos to the staff! My wife, two sons (7 and 10) and I went on a 3 day trip to Estes Park. When we checked in we were greeted by Daniel, who is the friendliest host I've ever seen. He previously gave me recommendations/info about the area over the phone and at check he further explained the ins and outs about the hotel. The hotel is very kid friendly and offers a game room, pin ball machine and a good sized pool + hot tub with a a large wide-screen tv on the pool's side. The room was very clean and offered a great view over the Rocky Mountains. Breakfast was excellent and Maria, the breakfast host, was extremely friendly and even brought my wife a mini birthday cake with candle and made an origami rose folded out of a napkin. She worked very hard and smiled the whole time we were there. At dinner we tried the Latitude 105 Alehouse, which is the same room as where breakfast is served in. Victoria, our server, was extremely helpful and hard working and just like Maria and Daniel, she shared information about the area and fun trivia. If you are Staying at the Ridgeline Hotel, I would highly recommend going to Rocky Mountain National Park. It is only 3 miles away and even in winter, you can still drive about 8-10 miles into the park (this is from the east entrances at Beaver Meadows and Fall River which are resp. on highway 36 and 34). Within the park we thought Bear River Rd and Bear River Lake were the most stunning routes/spots. The Stanley Hotel, which is on the way to Rocky Mountains NP, is a great place to stop. It offers great views and offers quite some history. The movies The Shining and Dumb and Dumber were (partially) filmed there. Anyway, I can keep going on about recommendations and sightseeing in the area, but as far as the hotel goes...the staff just totally made our stay phenomenal and gave my wife the best 40th Birthday she could ask for for. Our kids absolutely loved the staff as they were telling us repeatedly how friendly they all were. I would obviously highly recommend The Ridgeline Hotel and we will certainly come back here.
