The Estes Park Resort

Beautiful, functional, convenient Convenient parking right outside our private cabin. Beautiful and comfortable. Great customer service, staff checked in numerous times to see if we needed anything. Especially loved the indoor and outdoor fireplace and the hot tub on our patio. Modern & clean. Qi Spa at the resort was absolutely amazing. Loved every minute.

Nice, but should have been better. We enjoyed our stay, but it could have been much better. The room was booked over a month ago and while the hotel is currently in the process of a renovation, it was nice that the room they put us in was newly renovated. Apparently, the hotel was/is in desperate need of renovation according to some other guests we spoke with. However, the renovation in our suite was not actually completed when they put us in the room. Basically, the final inspection and punch list/walk thru process that every PM does, had not been done. There was no phone, no safe, and no TV signal on either one of the 2 TV's. They finally got the cable working on our second night but only one TV actually worked, and it was basic/basic cable with no other options. On top of that, there was a light fixture over a painting with no way to turn it off, apparently it had been hard wired in the ON position and nothing could turn it off, so we had to sleep with the light on every night. Also, there was no dresser or anything with drawers for clothes storage, the bedside tables also had no drawers. Two closets with 6 hangers each was the total amount of storage space. Mind you, this is their premier, top of the line, two room/suite offering that sleeps 4 and we stayed for 5 nights. I immediately brought this to the attention of the front desk manager upon check in, but they had no other room to move us to, so we just had to deal with it as is. The staff, to their credit, did their best with a bad situation but for what we paid for this suite I honestly expected a more professional presentation and outcome.

Great views...so so for room We were told we'd have an amazing remodeled room when we made our reservation months ago. Upon arrival our room the door wasn't even closed and was open...the door would not close without a forceful push or pill. Inside the room we were missing many amenities, including towel hooks, handles for drawers and screen door for the patio. There was masking tape on the bathroom wall along the countertop that wasn't even removed. We asked for the items to be fixed and were assured it would be the next day. Upon our return to the room only the door was fixed.

Resort needs updating! Rooms in need up repair and major updates. The small/low sink in the main area is ridiculous. The resort is in a wonderful location and the Ember Restaurant was great. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Estes Park Resort-Nowhere Near a Resort! Construction immediately next door to our room was deafening. Was unable to hear one another while in our room or make business calls. Extremely disruptive and when we notified the front desk, they blew it off as if it was normal and did not make any apologies. Person at front desk was down right rude. Absolutely zero food and beverage available at the hotel outside of coffee in the lobby. They did not even have pastries or juice available considering their kitchen and bar/restaurant were undergoing remodeling. Very disappointed in our stay. Many better options for lodging in Estes Park!!
