Unexpected Quality In Evansville Stayed at Le Merigot during a short business trip to Evansville. Was very impressed by the hotel and the service. I would compare the quality of the rooms to upper end Las Vegas hotels (think MGM Grand & Mirage). Shower was huge & had multiple jets. Bathroom was large & well appointed. Best was very comfortable. Nice room. Service was also very good with friendly and helpful personnel. Perhaps that's just the Midwestern friendliness in Evansville, but people seemed happy to be there. The complementary continental breakfast was quite good...defintely well above your average quality at hotel chains. Fresh fruits, peeled hard-boiled eggs, etc. gave many tasty choices. The only negative also reminded me of Las Vegas: the annoying $17 "resort fee." Stop it...we're in Evansville and it is a hotel not a resort. Nonetheless, it was a great hotel for a smallish city.

A weekend at the casino. The Le Marigot is a stylish hotel attached to the Tropicana Casino. I like the fact that we can get from the hotel directly to the casino floor. Great customer service, a comfortable nights rest and a bathroom/shower I can only dream about having at home. A great night away stay.

Great Hotel Attached to the Tropicana Casino The rooms in this hotel where a lot nicer than I expected. Very modern and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the showers, faucets and other furniture were very nice. The hotel itself was very nice and connected via an indoor walkway onto the casino floor.

Bad Experience My wife and I have stayed at Le Marigot several times in the past and had good experiences....until this trip! We were in Evansville to attend a concert at Old National Events Plaza....the hotel shuttle dropped us off and gave us a number to call for pickup when the concert ended. We tried to call repeatedly but the Valet service NEVER answered. Eventually, we were able to contact the main switchboard and they also had trouble contacting the valet service. We waited for an hour outside, on a street corner, until 10 pm, with no shuttle service showing!! Finally called Uber for ride back to hotel. Unacceptable....so disappointed that we’re cancelling reservations for next month, when we’ll be back in Evansville for another concert!!

Wedding Crashers We stayed in the hotel while attending a family wedding. It was VERY convenient to have the hotel in walking distance from the wedding reception. The hotel staff was nice and the room was clean. We enjoyed our stay.
