Eleven years later My first stay at this hotel was in early 2006. At the time I noted the property for the nice decor, including interesting artwork in the area just outside the elevators on each floor. Here it is eleven years later and I decide to book this hotel again while in the area. The property has not aged well. The cool sculptures are gone. The lobby is still nice, but that seems the extent of the inviting decor. One of the two elevators was not functioning. One half of my floor was walled off with a temporary unfinished wall and door - hopefully they're renovating rooms, but it seems odd to do half a floor at a time when an entire floor is a less intrusive option. All throughout the hotel and my room I came across worn-out features, peeling paint, and buckled, faded carpet. Many surfaces seemed dirty. In my room the sink was slow to drain, there was detached wallpaper and uneven wall surfaces showing, stains on the arm chair, hair in my bedding, and no sound insulation between rooms - I could clearly hear a conversation in the adjacent room. Breakfast is now just a buffet instead of a full menu, and the options are quite limited. It also costs extra unless you book a rate that includes breakfast. As an IHG Spire Elite, I was not upgraded. On the plus side, the internet speed was fast, parking is free, and access to I-5 is very convenient.

not close to where i needed to be but close to highway. I found this hotel to be very nice and clean. It wasn't close to the event I was attending but everything worked out. Their was a little place in the hotel lobby to buy light food and drinks. I don't know if they serve breakfast in the motel

Disappointed I was really disappointed with this Holiday Inn to be honest, in my opinion the rooms really need a refresh and a good clean. I really don't like dirty hotels so I do lots of research and am willing to pay a decent rate and this was not what I expected. The lobby and staff were very nice but once we got to our room it was rather old and faded I thought. Then I went into the bathroom and in the tub up on the wall was a big blob of hair (ewwwww) that I figured the maid must have stuck up there then forgot about. So now I'm kinda feeling gross and start looking around and I notice the mirror frame has tons of toothpaste splatter in the grooves. The underside of the faucet (that you can see when sitting on the toilet) is covered in toothpaste splatter. The overflow drain Hole in the sink, gag ..... so black and dirty and clearly never cleaned. The corners of the granite countertops look grungy, like they never wipe in the corners. The door and door frame looked very beat up and there was a water stain on the ceiling. Lots of little things just were not clean enough for me, I do not like to see other people's .... well anything when I'm at a hotel. So then I notice in the room that it sounds like the windows are open so I go over and open it and close it but nothing changes, so I look and they are metal windows that don't seal shut, so it's closed..... but not really. Also I looked at the mattress and they were baby blue like the kind I had as a kid 30 years ago...... again eeewwwww. Now maybe we just got a bad room but I would not stay there again nor would I recommend it sadly. I realize that I'm picky and I like a clean room but I didn't like this hotel. We stayed at 3 holiday inns on a 3 day road trip and this one did not at all compete with the other two we stayed at and this one was the most expensive, so yup my review is not a good one _

Excellent customer service. I took Amtrak to and from Everett to attend a seminar. Since I would not have a car, I looked from some place that had shuttle service that would not only get me from and to the train station, but to and from my meeting location down town. "Downtown Everett" meant something different to me; basically it's in an industrial area. I asked the hotel to pick me up, which they did promptly. I made arrangements for a shuttle ride the next morning, then went to get something to eat (OK food, but nothing too special). I was very surprised when I walked out of the restaurant, heading to the elevators, when the front desk manager hailed me and gave me a voucher for a cab ride to my seminar location, because there was not going to be a morning driver. They paid, and also paid for cab ride to train station on Sunday morning. To me, this is excellent customer service. My room was very clean and quiet, but I was not on the freeway side. I think it would have been noisier. There is a Denny's close by, but no other restaurants within walking distance. I would stay here again, even if I was driving.

Decent place to stay Clean, quiet, pretty new. Buffet breakfast for free every morning....it's food, but it's exactly the same thing every day. Nice little pool/sauna and a few machines for the obligatory minimum to say you have an exercise facility. Free parking! Staff was always friendly and helpful. It's not near much, and the neighborhood doesn't exactly look friendly to stroll around in.
