Awesome residence inn fairfax city The resisence inn fairfax city is awesome!!! The lobby is so big and modern with lots of seating arrangements to enjoy! The staff is very bery welcoming and helpful. The hotel room was so clean and furnishinhs were so nice. The breakfast buffet (complimentary) was great!!! Thank you to all!!!

Excellent Residence Inn We just checked out of the Residence Inn by Marriott Fairfax City yesterday. It was our third stay there and we will be back! The room is extremely clean and well maintained! Since we did not get any housekeeping for our three night stay, the hotel was happy to provide us with extra towels. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel added items to the breakfast offered since our last stay and we really appreciated the variety offered. There are plenty of restaurants and shops close to the hotel as well.

Impressed with the manager We didn't have a chance to stay here, but had a reservation with non-refundable rate if canceled less then 1 day before arrival. I had to cancel it and did it in time but for some reason the refund wasn't issued. When I brought this issue to the attention of hotel's Assistant General Manager Inga Liaukuviene it was resolved promptly and efficiently. I really liked her style of handling this problem and great skill in customer service.

Covid Safe I've travelled extensively during my working years and not as a senior retiree including a half dozen hotel stays during the Covid-19 pandemic. I have to say that this hotel is the most well run, friendly and clean place my wife and have seen in a long time. We felt absolutely safe from the virus here. The general manager, Dave Wilson, was ever present during the week we stayed with him. He is obviously very proud, as he should be, of the hotel. He has been the general manager since he oversaw its opening 8 years ago. Our visit was a sad time for us as we were there to visit and eventually lose our adult son. Dave and his staff were very understanding our situation and needs. Thank-you. As a practical matter, the hotel is a very affordable and excellently located for families visiting northern Virginia and the DC area. It's very well situated for visits to the Manassas Battlefield and other historic sites. It is a few miles west of the Vienna Metro so only a short hop to Washington. It's an easy walk to a Denny's or to the famous 29 Diner.

Excellent Hotel Convenient to George Mason University and DC Superb service by hotel staff made our stay comfortable and without issue. Check-in with iPhone when arriving is a great amenity however, this Marriott has not upgraded room doors with electronic keys compatible with iPhones at this time. Breakfast buffet is great with lots of variety to choose from including waffles and fresh fruit. Evening mix with other guests is excellent with light fare and beverages. Rooms are suites with more than enough kitchen space, comfortable couch with big screen tv that swivels to be viewed from bed. Bed coverings are of excellent quality and mattress and pillows are almost like home. Bath has walk in shower with perfect water pressure. Will definitely stay here again in the future.
