Annual Meeting Venue The arrangements that were previously discussed for this event with the Sales Staff exceeded expectations. The staff was very accomodating and addressed all inquires quickly. Thanks very much to Shaun and Reenie for all your assistance.

Very Nice This place is very nice and I'd say pretty unique. It is very masculine though and could use some softer touches amongst all the manly Craftsman decor style. The restaurant was good but a bit pricey. I wish they had more protein options at breakfast but I liked that they had microwavable breakfast sandwiches to take on the go!

Great place to stay It's a quant lodge type of place that has a homey feel to it. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay there again. Just bring something to put in the trash baskets in your room, they don't supply those.

Disappointed mostly. Good location, great restaurant, but needs so big updating and deep cleaning. The good news is the location is very good, close to Syracuse and restaurants, Starbucks, Freedom of Espresso and others close by. And their own restaurant is delicious. The bad news, it is sorely run down and does not feel well managed. I grew up in Fayetteville, where we locals had a high esteem for this Inn, having wedding receptions, bridal showers and even funeral lunches. So I was just shocked by the quality and caliber of the room. The first room we checked into smelled badly of mold and mildew with a big bump in the middle of the rug/room. We were moved to a better room, but there was mold all around the shower basin and undersink basin. We were told they only clean the rooms on Wednesdays, we arrived Monday. Wednesday came and went without any cleaning or new towels. The toilet paper was the thinnest I have ever experienced, we had to ask the front desk for at least one more roll of TP, and he said it was the last one they had. I do morning yoga, the run felt thin, greasy and kind of gross. I liked having a kitchenette, and the extra space, but never could figure out the old coffee maker. And the decor did not seem anything like Stickley which I grew up with. There were barn doors everywhere and industrial pipes for desk. Weird. Also, the I had to keep the a/c running for the stuffiness and it was extremely loud especially at night. I am very sad that this institution is become run down and not well loved. I am writing this so hopefully some attention will be paid. And there was no soap in the shower and since the only soap was mounted to the walls, I had to use shampoo. Ergh!

Recent stay at the Craftsman We stay at the Craftsman when we are in Syracuse. The rooms are comfortable with plenty of room. Amenities are fine. They don't provide room service on a daily basis, but you are told that when you check in so that you can make arrangements accordingly. They have really improved the free breakfast. Post Covid it was weak, but now great selection and they restock every morning. Very pleasant folks on check in and out. Rates are comparable or a bit less than similar hotels. Will be back.
