Door County Gem This classic looking roadside resort ended up being the perfect property for our family to stay in for a brief vacation to Door County the last week of June, 2021. We booked the 2 room 2 bath family bunk, which was great cause our 17-year old HATES sleeping the same room as the rest of her family. While we typically travel and stay at "name brand" hotels that feature breakfast bars, etc., we knew those would be hard to find in the area, and this was a nice alternative that was convenient to everywhere we went while visiting. Could the rooms use updating? Yes. But when we are on vacation, we don't spend a lot of time in our rooms. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Clean and friendly Very clean. Liked that sinks were outside shower/toilet area (some might not). Very quiet and centrally convenient location. Wished there was no carpet since I prefer solid floor surface, but again everything was very clean and in good working order. Friendly staff. Indoor pool, fire pit, tennis court (has seen better days but they provide rackets), small fridge, microwave (spotlessly clean) and coffeepot in room with coffee are amenities. Bed was quite comfortable and shower was new looking with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Really liked the air conditioner unit how able to select continuous fan or intermittent. We had great sleep here! Grounds were lovely and hardworking pride of ownership shines through in the maintenance of this place. Only downside is one driveway had some potholes. This is not a fancy place, but I found it good value for a clean, quiet, comfortable, convenient location and highly recommend!

Avoid this lodge The staff is not helpful, they raise the prices, minimum supplies in the room, rush customers out of the room and poor services. The location is okay but they make you feel unwelcome. It was a bad experience

Another wonderful experience at the Parkwood Lodge! My wife and I have stayed at the Parkwood on a few occasions while exploring Door County and have always had a wonderful stay. The staff is very friendly and eager to please and the property is clean and well maintained. We highly recommend it!

Great location fo sho. This place is cute af. But I would definitely advise getting your room on the second floor. I was woken up to thumper about a million times throughout the night. It’s weird that you don’t hear your neighbors on either side, only the person above you. Other than that, great location, nice amenities and reasonable price.
