A+ stay in Flagstaff The Little America is one fantastic hotel! Don't let the exterior fool you, this is a first class very nice place. The lobby staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms are extremely clean and updated. There is a great restaurant on site and a very nice walking trail just behind the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants and things to do very close to the hotel. This should be your place in Flagstaff.

Stable hotel, but cleaning needs real work We stayed for one night as a family of 4. The good. The rooms are large, plenty of storage and charging points. Balconies overlooking the scenery with a nice outdoor pool. Nothing stands out, and so it does everything ok. What doesn't seem to be of a high quality is the cleaning. Our room whilst having a clean bed, had food still on the floor, wrappers next to the curtains, used Qtips and hair clips in the bathroom and was generally dirty. We did ask the cleaner next door to return which he did, but either the vacuums don't work well, or they lack motivation to clean properly. Outside the room, the corridors are full of un picked up mess, and so I would say there is a lack of focus on making sure rooms and corridors are cleaned. We did mention to reception who said every room is checked by a supervisor - this means either they have bad standards or more likely there isn't a suitable check taking place. It's actually hard to rate the hotel as there are a number of positives, but they are overshadowed by a lack of cleanliness throughout. I dont think we would return, we would drive longer to the next city.

A luxury experience I had never heard of Little America hotels before this trip, so I wasn't sure what to expect. But I was very impressed with the hotel and the grounds. It is lovely. I had never seen a hotel in an urban area with such extensive property and walking trails. It was great for my wife and daughter who love bird-watching. We also had a great view of Humphreys Peak from our balcony. We had dinner at the Silver Pine one night and it was excellent. The room was very nice with lots of furniture I wouldn't normally expect to see in a hotel room, and a huge bathroom with a second sink outside the full bathroom.

What a great place! We stayed here as part of tour for a couple of days. Very impressed! The rooms were clean and spacious, everything worked. The bathroom was very open and easy to access. My favorite was the walk in shower. People were so friendly and helpful. I had actually left my phone on the table in the restaurant, it was found and turned in to reception, I got it back within a few minutes. The hotel is very central to a lot of attractions in northern Arizona. When I return, I'll be staying here again.

A very well done hotel, well maintained with great staff and amenities The title says most of it. The pictures of the place on the website make it look extra nice. When first driving into Flagstaff, I was a little worried that it was all marketing as the first glance suggested more of a road side 'motel' type experience. I was pleasantly surprised after we got settled in. The entire staff, and I mean the entire staff, was very friendly and helpful. Read that again because I mean it. Seriously think of the last place you went to where everyone was friendly and helpful. It doesn't happen these days (yes, I'm an old fuddy-duddy). We stayed in Flagstaff after Sedona as a side trip to the Grand Canyon. I was not overly impressed with the city of Flagstaff but after being in Sedona, most places will be a let down. However, if I'm ever in Flagstaff again, I can't imagine staying anywhere else. The room was really nice, very clean, comfortable and modern (i.e. up to date). The grounds were very well maintained. I didn't bring my swim suit so I didn't take advantage of the hot tub or pool but I was kicking myself for not bring proper attire as they were really nice looking. We walked the Ponderosa Pine trail in the morning, which is a reasonably nice little 2 mile hike. Still get some city noise on the trail and the trail markings are a little unclear but it's still nice little stroll through nature. There are a bunch of little activity areas and green space. Saw a few families there and this is an outstanding place if you have little kids to let them run around and have fun. There's an actually play area and they even have bags (cornhole) and a ladder toss game setup. The cherry on the sundae is the restaurant on site. I think it's the Pine Lodge or named something similar. The food and service was outstanding. It was also reasonably priced. After being in Sedona where nothing is reasonably priced, it was a happy relief. But even more important then the price was the quality of food. It was seriously a cut above most places I've stayed. The wait staff was great, the food was well prepared and delicious with great options. It was so good that while we only stayed for less then 24 hours, we ate there twice -- a late lunch and breakfast which were equally good. Bottom line, if I ever stay in Flagstaff again, this will be my go-to place.
