Nice place, in a good location We spent one night at the Doubletree. The room was nice, nothing really fancy, but most importantly, it was clean and everything worked as it should. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the Woodlands restaurant. It was just ok. The burger was undercooked for medium well, but everything had good flavor. The service was very good and friendly.

Good but overpriced. Stayed here for 4 days in October. Although it was company-paid trip, found it overpriced with little or no ameneties. Even at the extremely high rates breakfast was not included and otherwise very expensive. Rooms are large no doubt but room quality was decent only.

Still a Solid Option in Flagstaff This was my second stay at the Doubletree By Hilton Hotel Flagstaff. The staff was excellent, always welcoming with a smile. As stated in my prior review - the rooms are small but nice. They did update the TV system and now has capability to stream and add an HDMI cord to watch from a computer or other streaming device. The TV's looked larger too since my last visit. The bathroom was very bright and very clean. However, there were a few glaring negatives in the room. My room was completely missing the sheer curtain and only had blackout drapes, so I was stuck with an exposed window or covered window with no natural light. Second, the rooms are in need of refurbishment, but it's not horrible enough to make me not want to stay there again. The dresser/credenza had quite a bit of the varnish rubbing off on the front and the carpet had waves in it where it was coming up. Finally, the bathroom tub/shower combo did not drain properly and I was standing in an inch of soapy water every time I took a shower. The breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was quick and delicious. When I left around 8am there was a line of about 5 guests for breakfast as one server didn't show up, but everyone understood they were short staffed. The employees in the restaurant were just as friendly as last time and made the morning start off great. Yes, they need to update the rooms to match the rest of the hotel, but it wouldn't keep me from staying here again.

Great getaway Celebrating my wife’s 60th, and getting out of the heat! Had breakfast both days, and dinner in the 2 restaurants. Filet Mignon was outstanding, Salmon Oscar was excellent. The food served at the teppan table was fabulous! The servers at all meals, and the teppan chef, went out of their way at all times to be very friendly. The server in Sakura was a riot! Room was very comfortable, still in good shape. As a GM for 26 years in full service, and a long time Hilton person, I would have been proud of the staff. Thanks! Our 2nd stay. davidC

Not good Upgraded to a bed two bedroom two bathroom suite. Upon arrival, it was a one bedroom, pullout couch suite very deceiving front desk person said oh that’s what we have. Moved us to a two queen beds. The sink didn’t drain properly. Young man worked almost 3 hours on it. We couldn’t leave the room and had no bathroom. We were on vacation??? Door to refrigerator cabinet came off a hinge. The young man did remove the door for us. When we got to bed the room above us sounded like they were tossing a ball to a dog. Running? I called the desk. They were quiet for a bit. Still kept us awake. Sink was backed up in the morning. Had to use bathroom tub as a sink because sink still wasn’t draining. Very, very disappointing.
