WORST EVER EXPERIENCE :FRONT DESK INSULTING US AT CHECK IN It is so unfortunate that we had to write a bad review for a brand like Sheraton / Marriott regarding the behavior of the front desk staff. We have been in hospitality industry for years assisting brand hoteliers achieve their goals and revenue including Marriott. However when we visit as guests the front desk team of this hotel insult us in front of the staff and other guests. There was a bit of confusion about check in but instead of assisting and resolving the Front desk agent named Daniel called us Liars. There was no sound of any apology from anyone. WHAT A REDIULOUS PLACE AND to treat the guests this way, never going here again. DEFINITELY A COMPLAINT going to the corporate office for sure and consumer forum.

Great customer service I want to thank Ed from the front desk for always being professional, kind, and helpful. Aside from his great customer service the hotel has an amazing courtyard set up. It has beautiful foliage, a stream with a waterfall and lovely seating. A paradise within a paradise. Definitely recommend.

Strange experience We booked several rooms for several families for a business event this weekend. My husband has some sort of elite Bonvoy status and on his profile he specifically asks for low floors....they gave us a room in the very top (8th) floor. I thought the rooms looked updated. But I saw (and heard) construction, so perhaps we got one of the updated rooms...Oddly, for an updated room it was pretty beat up. Smudges and pen marks all over bathroom door, Not a fan of the sliding barn door for bathroom either..not private enough and constantly came off the track. The room surfaces didn't look clean when we arrived. Handle to open the cabinet for the fridge was so sticky...eewwww. Comfy beds as usual. I don't mind the super loud A/C, but I did leave with a sore throat, probably because of cold air blowing directly on me. They gave us two very small thin towels for three people staying three nights. It took over an hour and a reminder call to get more towels. The phone (handset) in the room didn't seem to work properly to call the front desk. The breakfast was good but not sure why there was no sit down breakfast. Only to go orders. Also, no breakfast on a Monday morning?? What's that all about? There were signs in the elevator warning that there would be no breakfast that day, but I thought they would at least put the coffee out. The fold out bed mattress had stains on it and I don't think they gave us a mattress protector. No bedding for fold out bed in room either. Had to retrieve it from desk. Strange experience I speak of had to do with the hotel patrons. The sign on the building advertises some sort of apartment rates. They also have monthly rates posted at front desk. I got a vibe that the people staying there, were being housed by FEMA or their homeowner's insurance or COVID relief or something. I have been through several hotel stays after hurricanes and it just had that vibe. People in robes and slippers. Also, some sketchy characters hanging around in the parking lot. My daughter and I came in one night and I immediately smelled a strong marijuana smell. We got on the elevator, and there was a man who was high out of his mind, laughing hysterically, wrapped in a blanket, paranoid, having a panic attack and talking talking to himself about germs, weed dispensaries and fentanyl, and forgetting which floor he was looking for, taking a few trips up and down. I was a little uncomfortable to say the least.

The worst hotels I've ever stayed in! My other reviews will show you that I always try to leave a balanced hotel review ... but with this hotel its impossible to do that. This hotel is by far the worst hotel I've stayed in during past 15 years. Here is why: Face mask covering is not encouraged. The staff does have their masks on, but so many guests are not wearing them. Front desk staff is very cold and rude. Hallways smell on garbage. There is all sort of construction stuff in the hallways - much of it a health hazard for guests. Rooms are old, outdated, and smell on garbage. If you want your room cleaned, you must go to the front desk the day before, and they will 'schedule you in’ for cleaning service. But guess what, cleaning service is on a first come, first serve basis. If you come in too late, you will not get a slot at all. I was offered a cleaning service at 5am only (a little too early, don't you think?) ... But let’s be honest, perhaps you don't really need your room cleaned every day. What you really need is a set of new towels and new coffee, etc. Well guess what, they don't have enough towels either - so you must wait until the next day to get some towels. But that's not all, the next day, when you go to get new towels, they don't have them ready, so you must wait until around 2pm to get new towels – even then, you really have to fight for those towels! The air conditioner in the room will make you feel like you’re sitting next to a jet engine. I hope you bring some ear plugs with you. Speaking of the air conditioners, Florida is obviously a warm state and you do have to turn on your air conditioner during night ... but the way the vents are positioned, the air blows directly onto the bed. Given how hard it is to control the temperature, you are literally going to be hit directly with cold air all night. When it comes to wifi, I’ve had better wifi access in 3rd world countries. Loading my gmail took several minutes. If you're on a business trip, you are doomed - you don’t even want to waste your time trying to connect to a VPN, or downloading an attachment. God forbid if you had to do a video conference call! Lastly, the light in the living room was flickering all the time - very annoying. It felt like I was in a horror movie. I also found it strange that some of the walls in the room had these big holes in them. I don't even know how those holes ended up there. Long story short, this hotel failed me in so many ways – I truly don’t think that this hotel deserved to be part of the Marriott brand.
