DON'T Waste Your Money On This One!!! I stayed at the DoubleTree because my 40th HS Reunion was held there recently, (10/26/24). Although I enjoyed my time seeing old friends and reminiscing I CAN'T say I enjoyed my stay in the hotel! This place needs a SERIOUS remodel. It is old, run down and has ZERO appeal. The sink was clogged and the tub wasn't too far behind. The faucet dripped ALLLL night and we never received the towels we requested. The heat/air wasn't working properly, so the room was too hot and extremely STUFFY!! The workout room had decent equipment, BUT there was nothing available to sanitize it!! There wasn't a security keypad available so I felt UNSAFE using the facility. For the price, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone...pure DISASTER!!! ____

Choose another hotel Don’t stay at this hotel. Positioned just next to a big messy road (highway) and you literary can’t walk anywhere from this hotel. You need to take an uber even to the bus stop. The shuffles just leaves once an hour so you need to plan your life/stay with that in mind if you want to escape the hotel. No pickup from the bus stop from the hotels side so you must take an uber back to the hotel every night. Breakfast is 25$ and not included. Coffee is not available in the lobby which is an hygien factor in a 4 star hotel… We also had some trouble with the flushing on the higher floors… I recommend doing some research before and choose a hotel where you at least can walk somewhere cause the price picture on this hotel isn’t that cheap so it justifies above-mentioned. Didn’t feel that there was any personal service either … NY deserves a better experience! Especially during night when heading back to the hotel. _

Horrible Experience! During our stay at the hotel from 09/18/24 to 09/27/24, we experienced a disappointing level of service, especially considering the hotel's association with the prestigious DoubleTree by Hilton brand. The service fell far below the standard motel. The room size, beds, sofa, and fridge were relatively okay, but the service was terrible. My colleague and I almost suffocated due to the lack of airflow. When we tried to adjust the thermostat, we found that maintenance had locked it to conserve energy. After calling maintenance, the thermostat was reprogrammed, and the air conditioning worked for one day but stopped for the rest of our stay, forcing us to open the window to sleep. As we arrived around midnight and left around 5:30 AM daily, morning coffee was essential to us. However, we had to call and remind the staff to provide coffee almost daily. Additionally, we never had sugar for a single day. Whenever we asked for sugar, they gave us equal sweeteners, so we ended up buying our sugar. The towels were not provided properly either. One night, we found the towel rack empty. We called the front desk, and the room service attendant who delivered the towels was rude. On 09/26/24, it was evident that the trash cans had not been emptied, the water glasses had not been replaced, the restroom had not been cleaned, and one bed had been left unmade. Should management choose to dispute this, we have photographic evidence with date, time, and location tags to support our claims The hotel appears to prioritize the Asian tourist market while neglecting the needs of US customers. The infrastructure and service warrant a comprehensive inspection by the authorities. The management might respond to this post, but it will not change the fact that this is a "One-Star Hotel." The cleanliness and maintenance issues in the rooms and common areas are unacceptable for a hotel with the reputable "DoubleTree by Hilton" brand. From stained carpets to malfunctioning amenities, the overall experience was disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Absolute worst experience getting to a hotel ever! YOU CANNOT WALK HERE! I repeat: if you do not have a car, there is NO way to access the hotel by walking or public transit. Nowhere on the Hilton or Expedia websites did it say that you can ONLY get to the hotel by car because it is surrounded by highways. Originally, Google Maps informed us it would only be a 7 minute walk from the nearest bus stop to the hotel but that is because it wanted us to hop the fence and climb down a STEEP hill to enter the hotel from the back parking lot. Even if we wanted to walk the long way around the trees separating us from the hotel just 200 feet away, we would have had to cut across multiple lanes of highway at night with our luggages. With such ridiculous infrastructure around it, the hotel should provide a shuttle service from bus stops. Their existing shuttle service is a joke because it is only available from 12 - 7 PM and FROM the hotel TO the bus stop by the George Washington Bridge but NOT BACK TO THE HOTEL! The room itself was fine, which is why this is not a 1-star review.

Worst stay . The first time we visited the USA and after Orlando and Washington we stayed in this hotel new jersey near George Washington bridge for 5 nights . .I wanna mention good things first and that is the front desk officers .very cooperative and respectful with their guests .one of the Chinese officer helps me in luggage shifting .that's so nice of him .I don't know his name .thank you.other there lobby is good . .but so many things they should give importance.first the lightning in the room is worst .it's dark for us .few lamps just No proper lights. secondly no pool no spa no activities for kids no proper area for any sort of activities .only gym .so that's ridiculous.the worst thing is the breakfast.we eat halal food .no customise egg no live cooking .we take cereals only .that tall waiter is so rude and disrespectful I could nt visit that area again .I did complain but they say sorry only.he neither gives or asks me for tea .neither display it or early close might be .but you should respect your guest whether he is Muslim or not .shame to him .he should be kicked off from this hotel and get some manners classes .so never wanna go again and never recommend to live there .
