Great location to dining and shops Stayed at the hotel while visiting family. Hotel is conveniently located. Next to Walmart and other major shopping places. The betting was comfortable. The staff was exceptionally friendly. Check-in was a breeze. The hotel does need an update, decor. Furniture and fixtures in the room were dated.

Ask about your room prior to completing the check in process The hotel staff was very friendly upon arrival and departure. I had no issues with staff. However, the room assigned to us was not satisfactory. In normal circumstances, I would have asked to be moved but our day of travel was not good and we arrived late and tired. We knew we had only one night so we just let it go. The AC in the bedroom of our "suite" was inoperable and in its place was a loud portable unit. We were not told of the issues the room had and certainly would have requested something else if we had. We will not revisit this particular Hilton property in the future.

Loved Our Stay We were in Fort Myers for a wedding. This hotel was a perfect location for us and 20 minutes from Sanibel Island. Staff was great, our room was wonderful, and breakfast was a perfect way to start the day. Nice outside seating if you'd like to enjoy breakfast by the pool. If we go back to Fort Myers I will definitely stay here again!

OMG! Overall the hotel was okay. Clean. Staff very nice. Water bottles on the house; free coffee and cookies. Nice touch. Location not great but Miller's Ale House nearby is excellent. Breakfast not world class. Sat by the pool two days in a row and heard nothing but leaf blowers and construction noises even on a Saturday! Biggest issue is that there is no private bathroom door. The bathroom door is on wheels and it's shared with the closet. Shift left and it's the closet door; shift right and it's the bathroom door. But the wheels are a good inch and a half away from the wall. So if you're standing right beside the bathroom door, you can see the hotel room door on one side and into the actual hotel room on the other side. God-awful design. Great if you're staying alone in the hotel room but not if you're sharing. And whatever you do, don't get the runs.

Could be better… Unfortunately this stay did not meet our expectations. The good: location, room was clean, nice desk attendant…. The not so good: loud industrial carpet dryers in the hallway outside our room on the 4th floor, being awakened at 1:20 by drunken loud neighbors, unable to use the a/c because it smelled like mildew!!! Hampton should do better.
