Super experience and affordable The accommodations in this Fort Myers Beach resort were great . Even though it’s still under renovation from the hurricane in 2022. I would have to say this is by far one of the greatest resorts I’ve ever been to as far as room accommodations and the tiki café near poolside. The check in was super simple and very welcoming w/ a complimentary upgrade since it was my first visit there. That will have me book again just because of that gesture. The Beach theme room 616 (top floor) was absolutely AMAZING the room smelled crisp & super fresh with fresh smelling A/C air - not damp air. The linens were fresh and pressed. Towels folded in form of a swan. Bed was super comfortable pillow as well. I live in Florida and I felt I was on a serious staycation and I only stayed here one day. I feel refreshed and renewed. Thank you LIGHTHOUSE RESORT for making this an extremely pleasant visit. I BOOK THROUGH HOTELS.com GREAT DEAL - zero issues at arrival. I for sure will do it again just because of the experience. A Super Satisfied Customer.(10 stars)

Horrible Horrible disgusting place Horrible place to stay, bartenders are rude food was not good, when they have it, they run out a lot, disgusting green stinky pool, cockroaches everywhere, rat droppings in every corner, even watched innocent old people get bullied and pepper sprayed by a bouncer that was to aggressive and needed his butt kicked, never ever go here, stay at the clean awesome margaritaville resort it’s way better

Weekend Get-a-way It was our 39th anniversary this past weekend. We decided to celebrate on Fort Myers Beach (FMB). You may recall that Hurricane Ian destroyed FMB about 20 months ago and we wanted to support the businesses that are recovering. I would say that the beach isn't at 20% recovery. That said, they are making progress. We stayed at The Lighthouse for our anniversary for several years after we moved to SWFL. I like the beach! Luckily for us the Lighthouse is open. Margaritaville started building right next door before the hurricane. They just had the lower cement walls up when Ian hit. This actually saved The Lighthouse according to the owner. Water rose to just below the 2nd floor. Phew! Just know that the elevators are not working at this time. You will have to walk up 1-2 flights of stair. We were on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool. The room was clean and spacious. There was coffee maker, stove top, service for 4, apartment sized refrigerator. We had shared balconies front and back. Sweet! Know that FMB is a party town. The Tiki Bar (part of the Lighthouse)... it is 2 bars. You can get lunch/dinner every day and breakfast on Sat/Sun. The Tiki Bar had karaoke on Friday night which stopped at 11 pm with the singing of the Star Spangled Banner. Saturday night they had a 7 piece band that was very good. They ended music at 10 after a 90 minutes session. We enjoyed them from our balcony. They only give you maid service every three days and only for trash and towels. You have to ask for the room coffee from the front desk every day. The Lighthouse is central to everything. Short walk to the beach and Central Square. Several great restaurants near by. Try Snug Harbor, Nervous Nellies, Yucatan, restaurants on Time Square and of course Mararitaville. It was a beautiful weekend. Everyone was friendly and glad that we came. So are we.

Wonderful Experience Very cute place. The room is spacious and comfortable and the pool and Tiki Bar are amazing. Everything is in walkable distance. Also, the new Margaritaville is right next door with many new restaurants. We ate there most of the time as well as the Tiki Bar.

DISAPPOINTED- We stayed here in May 2023 and the room was clean, the bed was comfortable. No complaints. We stayed again December 22-26th and the room appeared to be clean, but the floor was filthy. I mean so dirty that when you walked on it with bare feet the bottoms of your feet were visibly dirty and gritty. The bathtub was clean but the bathmat was old, dingy and stained. The back door of the room did not shut tight, leaving a gap to the outside. Our friends staying on the second floor had bugs and left the hotel. It really upsets me that management is not taking care of this "once" tropical paradise to stay. The location is great, the Tiki bar is fun and always has entertainment and the food is good. The staff at the Tiki bar are awesome. This property is close to everything, and you can walk everywhere. Management, get it together and get this place cleaned up and hire GOOD housekeeping staff-ones that know how to properly clean. Don't let this place go to the $h!tter!
