Bad wouldn’t come back again . There was a bug in the room . There was slimy stuff at the bottom of the pool . Also the pool water was nasty . Constant itching from the beds . Couldn’t have more then 4 family members. The staff here are absolutely terrible people. There were different strange men watching my family/ kids swim. The room was still dirty when we came

Poor Performance Clouds Stay The "GOOD" at this hotel was ample parking and decent food in the breakfast area on the first morning of our stay. The not-so-good was a lobby computer "kiosk" that was inoperable and no signage to indicate it being "down". Front desk staff were rude and unhelpful when making inquiries about the computer access and for wanting to make a change in our departure date. It was explained to me that while the reservation was made through Expedia, only Expedia could make the change to the reservation date of checkout. There was no help offered or polite assistance given. I felt punished for using Expedia and told explicitly that had I only made the reservation through the Front Desk this would not have been a problem. There was unruly late night noise coming from the adjacent room, loud voices, yelling, and outbursts from late night to early morning hours without anyone addressing the matter. I personally feared retribution by these occupants if I had tried to intervene with the oversight of property management. In the first floor hallway was an apparent overhead, ceiling leak with a warning or caution sign placed underneath the steady flow of leaking water. A small bucket was in place to catch the water and this was present all four days we were there. I found myself disgruntled and angry with the treatment by Front Desk staff, and was definitely shamed for using Expedia. The bathroom was dated, and the tub lacked a stable bottom service upon which to stand when taking a shower. This is an older hotel sited adjacent to the Interstate highway (540) running through the area. It was likely a good hotel at one time, but has fallen into less than stellar management. The appearance of the hotel seemed "tired", "worn", out-of-date or dated, and only worthy of maybe 2-Stars in such a rating system. I would caution anyone wishing to stay there to be very careful how the reservation is made, which platform is used if making a reservation through an online service and understand that there can be penalties for early check-on, late check-out, and a list of other such changes a traveler may wish to make.

Days Inn at Fort Smith Everything went well during our stay at Days Inn. My only recommendation will be to put a new bath tissue or toilet paper roll in the bathroom as the one we were given was low on toilet paper which concerned me as four of us were staying in the same room. Other than that the check in and out ladies were friendly and the hotel did not stink like cigarettes like other hotels do. Overall this is a clean and friendly hotel. :-)
